another update from 'Eclipsed Paradise':

"It is you." She spoke quietly.

Nikki loooked up at Cheza as she rode her back, trying to not believe what she'd just said.

"You and Kiba are the Chosen Wolves." Cheza finished.

"How can we be?" Kiba asked curiously.

"This one does not know. All this one knows is that you and Nikki will help lead the others to Paradise." She shook her head.

Nikki looked back silently at Kiba.

He glanced at her before looking away.

Phoenix looked at her sadly.

"Cheza. If I'm one of the Chosen Wolves, does that mean that Kiba and I are mates?" She asked.

"No. It does not mean that." Cheza replied.

The three wolves sighed in relief.

Kiba smiled faintly at Nikki as Phoenix pecked her cheek gingerly, earning a shy giggle from the girl he loved.

"Let's get going." He declared.

She nodded, leading the four at a sprint, the dark grey wolf at her side.

The four wolves ran after them...
