The darkness falls around me
Like the shattered glass of broken yesterdays
It pools in vacant shadows at my feet
Like the blood spilling from my heart
As it is pierced by this everlasting pain
Over and over again
My eyes are empty and shine no more
For all that gave me joy has perished
The ear-splitting screams still linger
To mark the loss of my sanity
As on my knees I desperately beg
What gods there be to bring about my end
But my pleas fall on deaf ears
For I am damned to walk this earth
This hell
