ok this may be confuseing but in this poem i am the girl that is being discribed.

You were so perfect, so utterly right
I never imagined you dwelled in the night
Your smile was my salvation, awakening my soul
How could I not know you were out of control?
We shared out secrets, our inner most thoughts
And I never even noticed that you were so lost
You laughed with me freely, never seeming to be sad
I never even saw the scars that you had
There was no warning, not even a sign
To show me what was wrong in your sad, broken mind
I missed whatever clues you gave me to know
That you were about to completely let go
I wonder, was it my fault, was it something I did?
Why didn't I notice the pain that he hid?
It seems so uncertain, so tragically broken
That you would die, before my love for you was spoken
I thought you to be an Angel, sent to watch over my life
And I never guessed you were filled with such strife
You seemed to be able to conquer it all
I never thought to realize that even Angels fall
