Technique List:

Ninjutsu:

Katon: Ichi (Fire Release: One)
Description: The basic building block of a great many techniques down the line, this is presumably the very same skill that began the study of Katons. Molding their chakra through a simple seal of any choice, the user is able to focus it onto the tip of their index finger in the form of heat. With this, they can cut through things such as glass and rope with some difficulty. However, at this stage, control of one’s chakra is so minimal that this technique can only be used by one finger and essentially has no combat use.

Katon: Shoumeidan no Jutsu (Fire Release: Flare Technique)
Description: By molding chakra into ones lungs properly, they are able to exhale a short burst of heat and flame which basically explodes from the mouth. The fire itself actually only lasts for about a second. But its effect is that it illuminates dark places, if only for but a few seconds.

Katon: Tanebi no Jutsu (Fire Release: Cinder Technique)
Description: Basic to all Katon users is the ability to set thing things on fire, obviously. This technique allows a person to snap their fingers and ignite a spark anywhere they so wish. A simple cinder and no more, this jutsu is used mostly in pranks and the like.

Katon: Houka Hira no Jutsu (Fire Release: Flaming Palm Technique)
Description: A more advanced version of the Katon: Tanebi no Jutsu, this jutsu allows the user to hold the make spark in their hand. They then amplify it with their chakra until it is a small flame. By mimicking the gentle fist style, the push the flame into their opponent, causing clothes to light, or minor burns on the body.

Katon: Ni (Fire Release: Two)
Description: This technique makes it so that after a user has molded enough chakra to gather heat into their finger they can now distribute it to both the index and middle finger (one hand), making it a somewhat viable option in combat now. However, jabs and strikes made through this method would simply burn through clothing and wouldn’t cause any substantial thereafter. In terms of raw searing strength, though, it allows the user to cut through even metallic string now.

Katon Housenka no Jutsu (Fire Release: Mythical Fire Flower Technique)
Description: A jutsu that sends multiple blasts of fire from the mouth, usually with one target in mind. Shurikens can also be hidden inside the flames, creating an element of surprise.

Katon: Hoteri Ougigata no Jutsu (Fire Release: Flash Fan Technique)
Description: A fairly simple jutsu, the user breaths in a fair amount of air while performing the necessary handseals and breaths it out in a short funnel of flame. Literally lasting only a few seconds, it explodes out of the mouth in a v-like wave and is a commonly used technique amongst shinobi who like to build into their attacks. The range of this flame, however, is about 3m and the flame itself isn’t held long enough to deal any real damage. Therefore, it isn’t necessarily a viable offensive option as compared to other jutsus, but it does serve its purposes since only three handseals are needed to perform this technique.

Katon: Bounetsu no Jutsu (Fire Release: Flame-Resistance Technique)
Description: This is a passive jutsu that is the first in two steps to protect the user from damaging themselves with their very own Katons. Although not necessarily mandatory to learn the finer points of the tree, it does provide a buffer against self-inflicting injuries. For example the user is able to withstand increasing amounts of heat and can even withstand certain techniques aimed at them. Withstand, however, does not translate into invulnerability as there are general flaws to this jutsu as well.

Katon: Yojin Bunshin no Jutsu (Fire Release: Ember Clone Technique)
Description: A basic bunshin wherein the user will call forth through in corporeal form a clone of themselves, crafted from flame. At this level, the clone is quite weak and can only really serve as a distracted more so than a viable combat replacement. However, it does have its uses, which alongside detonating upon destruction or on command, are numerous.

Katon: Hi Shinten no Jutsu (Fire Release: Flame Spread Technique)
Description: This jutsu allows the user to extend the flame from their hand to any weapon or item they may be holding. This creates a surrounding layer of flame around the object, but the object is unharmed. This can only extend to a length of 3 feet maximum, or the length of a medium sized sword.

Katon: San (Fire Release: Three)
Description: At this stage of learning, users of this technique are expected to be quite adept at controlling the flow of chakra in their body. It is by this that they are now able to both create ample amounts of chakra and distribute to both hands (still only two fingers per hand). The actual heat effect of this technique, though, still hasn’t changed much from Katon: Ni. Also, awkwardly enough, the user is still unable to have the technique travel throughout one whole hand.

Katon Ryuuka no Jutsu (Fire Release: Dragon Fire Technique)
Description: A jutsu that sends a stream of fire towards the opponent, originating from the users mouth. In some cases it has been seen to take on the form of a dragon. Capable of being used like a flamethrower, prolonged exposure has been known to transform boulders and cliff side’s into molten piles of magma.
Note: Genin can use the technique for up to two posts, Chuunin for three, and Jounin for five. As mentioned before, strength of the flame and prolonged exposure can prove devastating.

Katon: Kyuuka no Jutsu (Fire Release: Flame Sphere Technique)
Description: Quite different from the other various other Katons in Leaf’s arsenal, this one instead is a defensive jutsu. Quite easy to learn, it is also performed much differently from other jutsus. Using the body as a heat source, the user molds chakra to amplify it and make it entirely visible. Then the user expands it, using more chakra, and takes on a red, spherical shape. This shield is used as a defense against both ninjutsus and taijutsus. It isn’t very powerful, though, and can only parry at most one technique before deactivating. A drawback to this jutsu, though, is based on the body’s temperature. If the user performs this technique late in a fight they risk fainting due to both a drastic change in body temperature and already stressed body levels.
Note: The user must remain still while using this technique.

Katon: Shouidan no Jutsu (Fire Release: Incendiary Technique)
Description: Recently developed, this technique is much akin to the Katon Ryuuka no Jutsu in a few ways. Using almost the identical set of seals, the user instead coughs out globs of what looks to be silver-tinged mucous. These flammable, gelatinous balls can be scattered along any area and even on other people and are highly combustible. Anything from the slightest spark can ignite them and set off variable explosions based on the level of the shinobi as well is leave a lasting flame going.

Katon: Hidoko no Jutsu (Fire Release: Bed of Fire Technique)
Description: Defensive or offensive, this just is simple enough to have many uses. Heaving a mighty breath, a shinobi will spew an oily substance in front or even around them. It will rush forth like liquid and ignite as soon as the user wills it. The effect is obvious enough, resulting in a carpet of flame in whatever manner the user provided. It could be in a cone laid out in front of them as an opponent is rushing forth, or it could be scattered across a weapon.

Katon: Kita no Jutsu (Fire Release: Aerial Explosion Technique)
Description: A different version of the Katon: Hidoko no Jutsu, this jutsu releases a gas into the air. This is an odorless, colorless gas that can be ignited with any spark or flame. This gas will rapidly ignite, causing it to expand and create a strong wind in all directions. The outer gas is shot out, and ignites when it has expanded at a range of around 20 feet. Anyone within the range of this jutsu will be seriously injured and probably suffer at least a first degree burn. It also evaporates all water in the range of this jutsu.

Katon: Shi (Fire Release: Four)
Description: Much unchanged from Katon: San, the most noticeable change here is the strength of the heat effect set off by the user’s fingers. Now able to melt through various objects of higher density than glass (not including metals), the only drawback is that this intensity is only attainable through one hand at the moment. One could compare the effect of this technique to being stabbed with a searing hot kunai. Essentially, this is just a much more combat effective version of Katon: Ni.
Note: This technique cannot be stacked with Katon: San wherein both hands can be used at the same time with one hand stronger than the other.

Katon Goukakyuu no Jutsu (Fire Release: Powerful Fireball Technique)
Description: Uses a high amount of chakra which allows the user to breath out a large portion of flame. Extremely powerful, this Katon seems to possess a denser mass than most Katons. This would explain its intense potency and explosive nature.

Katon: Nenshou Tosshin (Fire Release: Burning Rush)
Description: A two-part technique that acts much like the Katon: Kyuuka no Jutsu. With the same seal sequence as the aforementioned jutsu, the dragon, ox and hare are added at the end and the technique changes from defensive to offensive. As the customary sphere surrounding the user appears to fade out, it instead sweeps back and wraps itself around the user in the elemental shape of flames at the arms and shoulders. At this, the user finds themselves temporarily invigorated.
Note: This jutsu is both defensive and offensive, both blocking attacks and acting as one itself. The secondary effect here is that the user is able to move at a slightly more increased speed than usual alongside the actual flame effects that obviously harm opponents upon contact.

Katon: Taika no Jutsu (Fire Release: Fireproof Technique)
Description: At this point in time, the user has developed a natural resilience to flame and has come to know the pros and cons of their own techniques. With this knowledge in hand, they are able to not only guard themselves against fire and high temperatures but also anything around them. Expelling chakra at a constant rate, it acts a shield or buffer against all forms of heat, completely preventing them from harm. But by freely imparting this chakra onto a person or thing, they are able to pass on that very same shield. There are, however, limitations.

Katon: Myaku Hitofuki no Jutsu (Fire Release: Pulse Blast Technique)
Description: An extremely useful jutsu, this one has the effect of flushing out or separating multiple opponents. Hurling a fireball about the size of a basketball, it is meant to be dodged in order to be effective. For at center of this fireball is a gaseous core which, when the spherical attack finally makes contact with something, will explode and this gas will expand rapidly in a loud bang. The bang is simply a precursor though, as instantly afterwards a sharp concussive force will issue out all around the center of the blast. Though the explosion of the attack itself is not very strong, the force it sends out is enough to knock anyone who is within a certain radius of it flying.

Katon: Kaen Hisame no Jutsu (Fire Release: Incinerating Hail Technique)
Description: By focusing their chakra into their hands, the user can then lift them skyward and create a salvo of small fireballs that will rain down all around them, incinerating anything they touch. Since the fireballs have no solid state, they can only do damage by burning things. These fireballs are about half the size of one's closed fist.

Fuuinka (Fire Sealing)
Description: Yet another form of fire mastery, this particular technique was originally developed and mastered by the Sannin Jiraiya. Sometimes seen as the jutsu within a jutsu, this one has properties that only the most talented of shinobi will ever master. Unleashing a scroll usually readied in advance, the user tosses it in front of them and then performs the necessary seals. At once the scroll absorbs almost any incoming Katon and stores it within the scroll for later use or even study. However, much unlike Jiraiya, no other ninja within the Leaf or anywhere else was ever able to bring this technique to his level. Because of that, it has particular limitations that the Sannin himself was not obliged to adhere to.

Okibi Akuba Maru - Hellfire Hex Circle
Building enough heat into her sakabato, Shana stabs the blade into the ground then releases the heat. Adding chakra to create a circle runed path for the heat to travel in around her, the fire looks like a Hex Circle. Adding more chakra causes the fire to erupt.

PyroKaze
A little move she learned. It's believed to be the work of Fuuton jutsu plus fire. In actuality, the fire just goes airborne. Building heat into the sakabato's blade, then using her hand to sweep along the blade at the exact moment of release, the PyroKaze mirrors a Kazekuro, a wind attack used by some sword users, where the wind used is so defined that the wind cuts like a katana blade. This is the same thing only using heat and a hit results in burn damage.

Katon: Mugendai - Fire Release: Infinity
A Fire Release jutsu created to build on the previous Fire Release jutsus. At this point, the user would have, through the duration of the fight, built up heat in their bodies bit by bit. Only after effeciant heat is accumilated and after Katon: Go has been activated can Katon: Mugenda be used. As with Katon: Go, it mimics Chidori, replacing lighting with fire, but in thsi instance, it's more like a full-body flaming Chidori. Anything that touches the user's body is, depending on how full the touch, either scorched or completely vaporized. The jutsu has an obvious set of draw-backs. For one, if the body cannot handle the jutsu, the fire will consume the shinobi alive, regardless of any fire resistance training. Secondly, it can only be used once by Chunnin and Jounin if used for a period of time constantly; roughly 20 seconds by Cs, 30 by Bs. As and Ss would have no problem holding the jutsu for 30 seconds, but great difficulty holding it for a minute straight.

Personality: Very... open.
Personal Skill: Cooking
Favorite Food: Pokey
Favorite Drink: Sake
Least Favorite Food: Brocolli
Background History: Shana originated from the Leaf village, and studied Katon jutsu for the majority of her life. During this time, she became very gifted with both blades and fire, often being the mastermind being many fires that happened randomly as pranks.

She left the village to move to the Grass village to escape her drunk of a father and take an Academy Sensi job, where she's been ever since.

Her Kekkai Genkai is more like an small group's skill.

Each Shinobi main element has a Gan, Shana Shakugan being Fire, the Hyouketsugan being Water, etc. The name comes from the look of their eyes once they get into Stage one of whatever the 'Spirit' happens to be... which comes from the belief each has an elemental spirit kept within their bodies. Each Gan's nickname is Whatever element+Kage. Ex: PyroKage. The real name is based off the Spirit. Ex: Shana's is Alastor.

Personal Information

Personality: Very calm and solemn; do NOT let the picture fool you.
Nindo: "Are you useful or just in the way?'
Personal Skill(s): Seeing through walls
Family: Mom and dad.

Bio:
Ikkuya was the 'average' guy. Average parents, average school, average lifestyle, etc. He's the son of Yugal and Adela Nagamo, and did have two sisters, but one died about two to three years prior in a car accident (Spawning his hate from drunks), but the sisters aren't who this Bio is based on, is it?

Ikki (I will refer to him as Ikki for the rest of the bio) walked about half a mile to get to school, and to get back. He was a regular to all of the stores and shops that ran said path, as well as numerous houses and apartment complexes, so everyone knew him. In fact, most of the kids his age that lived in the area were friends with Ikki on one level or another. I say 'Most', because were there is 'Good', there is always 'Evil', like Hishou Araika. This brat of a boy was the school bully, known for his pranks and pushing other people around. However, he dared not mess with Ikki.

Hishou tried it once, only once. Ikki was hanging around and talking to his friends Kikio Uryuu and Doma Kull, Doma being from another village, when Hishou reared his ugly head. He spouted out a string of insults, which didn't really effect Ikki. When Kikio laughed, Hishou, excuse the language, called Kikio a 'Whore who's just a waste of skin and life.' One punch was all it took to send Hishou to the Hospital, but Ikki laid on about ten more before being ripped off Hishou by School Staff.

What's the point of that little intervention? From that point on, people not in his circle of friends began to see him as a Trouble-maker, when it was just a coencidence things started to get rougher. More "Evil' people began to show themselves, and Ikki took them all on. He got in so many fights because of loose tongues that he broke a suspension record. This lasted a good three years, until That day.

Ikki had to stay after school for 'Detention', and wasn't released until about six or seven o'clock at night. He made his way down the usual path, but a glowing light caught his eye. He walked into an allyway, and found the source of the light: a group of shinobi pushing a student around. Ikki got in the middle of it and a fight started. He won, but was left with both eyes stabbed by poisoned daggers. Now here's the odd part...

Because it was the Rain Village, he constantly heard drops hit the ground. His body adapted to the sounds and as his eyes healed, which the Medical Nin said there would be no recovery from his wounds, the chakra currents within his eyes changed and allowed him to literally see motion waves, thus creating his Ghost Sight. Most believe it was this sole part about him that allowed him to pass the gennin and chuunin exams at the age of 14 then 15.

That's just about everything important anyone needs to know, to show how he's the way he is.

~Techniques~

Ninjutsu:
((All Neutral))
Bunshin no Jutsu - Clone Technique
Kawarimi no Jutsu - Change of Body Stance Technique
Henge no Jutsu - Transformation Technique

Arijigoku no Jutsu (Ant-Lion Technique)
Description: The user forms a large conical crater in the ground which will draw and trap careless opponents.

Kai (Release)
Description: Kai is a Ninjutsu technique which allows the ninja to avoid the effects of a Genjutsu illusion. After forming the needed hand seals, the Genjutsu technique will not affect the ninja. The ninja can also use the technique on another individual who was unable to avoid the attack. After forming the needed hand seals, the ninja touches the one affected to end the affect of the spell.

Kanashibari no Jutsu (Temporary Body Paralysis Technique)
Description: Kanashibari no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique used to temporarily bind an individual or animal. With the person frozen in place, the ninja can either take the opportunity to attack or to retreat.

Chakra Kyuuin Jutsu (Chakra Absorption Technique)
Description: After activating the technique, the user's hand will glow with chakra. When the user touches their palm on their opponents body, they can withdraw the physical and spiritual energy out of them. By reducing their chakra, it greatly increases the user's advantage over their opponent.

Iwa Nadare (Stone Avalanche)
Description: Forming handseals and running up a cliff face, the user can cause stone and rock above them to become dislodged and rain down past them onto their opponents below.

Genjutsu:

Taijutsu:
Rakanken Ryuu (Achiever of Nirvana Fist Style)
Description: The ninja has several Taijutsu attacks in his/her arsenal. These include HouShou (Demolishing Palm), a palm strike to the chest which is capable of knocking an opponent back approximately 30-40 feet. TokKen (Shoulder Thrust), a charging strike with his shoulder. ShouShitsu (Rising Knee) a hard uppercutting knee strike. ShouGekiShou (Rising Palm Attack), a hard thrusting palm attack that can send his opponent flying. AtsuShou (Pressure Palm), a powerful driving palm thrust. And finally GanGeki (Boulder Attack), another powerful fist strike.

Suiken Ryuu (Drunken Fist Style)
Description: Suiken is fighting style utilizing alcohol to loosen the body's muscles and the unstructured movements make the users attacks harder to predict. By being in this drunken state, the user can take more damage without feeling the pain, gain higher agility and provide a natural fluidity to their movements.

Note: He doesn't use elemental jutsus, but can be thought to use Earth, as while using Rakanken Ryuu, Ikkuya commonly smashes the ground and sends the chunks of earth that shoot up flying at an enemy.

Celestial gates
(Striked means can't use...yet)

- Initial Gate [Kaimon]
Located behind the left eye, the Inital gate is the first of the eight celestial gates; it's not rare for a jounin who uses a good deal of taijutsu to know how to unlock this gate. Occasionally others will learn to break it as well. This gate is usually broken in order to perform a needed devestating attack or for a self boost to get out of a sticky situation; keeping this gate unlocked for an extended period of time puts a lot of strain on the muscles.

- Heal Gate [Kyuumon]
The Heal gate is located behind the right eye, it is the second of the eight celestial gates. As any taijutsu specalist knows, battle can be dangerous, if a shinobi is taking a beating they may choose to unlock the Heal gate, which allows them to shrug off a good deal of damage and even make their body function better for a while.

- Life Gate [Seimon]
The Life gate is the third celestial gate, and the first of the forbidden ones; the unnatural endurance granted by this causes the user to barely even register pain, as such they would not give up easily in a fight, even if they are horribly outmatched. Located near the top of the spine, this gate furthers the endurance of the user. This gate grants some minor healing when opened as well.

- Harm Gate [Shoumon]
The fourth gate is known as the Harm gate, and for good reason. Like the Life gate located right above it, it is forbidden for it's risk to oneself. This gate allows the user to tap into their own abilities even further, allowing them to truly use their taijutsu techniques to their full advantage. This is not without a price, however, while this gate is open the muscles are slowly being torn to shreds by the sheer force flowing through them.

- Limit Gate [Tomon]
Placed below the Harm gate, the Limit gate's name is a bit of a misnomer, by opening this gates the mind's natural inhibitions placed on the body are foricbly removed. This massively increases chakra flow, grants superhuman speed and strength and allows the user to fight even if he would be dead several times over. When this gate is unlocked the user's chakra forms a visible aura around them, and the chakra even appears to heal their wounds somewhat. Of course, the minds unconsious inhibitions are there to protect the body, with them gone the body slowly tears itself to peices, not knowing when to stop.

- View Gate [Keimon]
Falling in line below the Life, Harm, and Limit gates, the View gate is a rare sight to behold. Only taijutsu masters have ever succeded in unlocking this gate, and then with drastically strong effects. The user's body is actually burning from the chakra pouring out of all the tenketsu, creating such a thick aura that some jutsu are actually partially deflected. The chakra is basically holding the body together as the user's muscles and even some bones are being torn to shreds. Many have died while this gate has been unlocked.

- Wonder Gate [Kyoumon]
The penultimate of the eight celestial gates is located at the base of the spinal cord; the Wonder Gate is only attained by true masters of the art of taijutsu; at this point the mind has actually convinced the body that it can do more then 100%, rather then the normal 20-30% it normally does. The enormous surge of energy granted by this state shreds part of the body as the gate is broken; however, the chakra is absorbed by every fiber of the body, knitting it together again, making it better; at least temporarily. The body is functioning at what no body should, and this state causes extreme physical pain; but the mind at this point has transcended pain.

- Death Gate [Shimon]
Upon unlocking the final gate, located in the heart, the body dies. The heart explodes, the lungs stop taking in air, blood stops circulating; the user is clinically dead, and no means exist to bring them back. Why would someone unlock this gate if it is inevtiable death? That's for the user to decide, what is known about this gate is that even though the body is dead the mind controls it with chakra flow alone, animating it and causing it to function as if it were still alive. Damage to the user means nothing, and even if a weapon should sever the body in half the chakra holds it together. Only true masters of taijutsu have been able to attain the unlocking of this gate, and then only under the most dire of circumstances.

Konpaku Joukei - Ghost Sight
The Konpaku Joukei is a type of permenant Doujutsu, in which the user goes blind. If the surrounding are right, their body will adapt while healing the eyes, changing chakra flow in the eyes to be able to see motion waves. Downside: User will never be able to see like normal. (To get a picture of what it looks like: Think Daredevil or Toph from Avatar)

Because the user doesn't see images as normal people do, vision genjutsu doesn't effect the user. However, in order to 'see' clearly, the user must be on a stable surface. Surfaces like sand will hinder the vision and make everything look very, very blurry, and in some cases not reveal any waves at all. The user's ears are also very, very sensitive.
