Oh noes! Mecuniv gets her body stolen! :o
Mecuniv and Shadow were having a conversation about rings in zOMG. Mecuniv asked where he kept getting all these rings from. After all, she killed all sorts of the Animated but never got a single one. Shadow told her that the fluffs at Bass’ken Lake drop them, along with loot you can sell for 100 gold each.

Mecuniv’s eyes flashed as her warrior spirit kicked in. “I must get stronger so I may train at the lake!” She ran to her mount. “To the lake!” The horse reared up as she drew her sword. “Charge!”

“Okay…”

“But alas my love...zOMG does not work on this computer...” Mecuniv sighed. “Time for plan B...”

“Hmm?”

Mecuniv pounced on Shadow, tackling him. “Ack!” She chained him to the bed and grinned.

Shadow frowned. “I'm not sure how much I like this plan. Any plan that involves me getting tied up is a bad plan in my book...”

Mecuniv pulled out a ritualistic knife. “Well, you don't have a say...see the Pentagram draw on the floor around the bed? I learned some new tricks; it suppresses your powers without the risk of combustion...” She grinned again. “I'm gonna have a little fun now...”

“I don't like where this is going...”

Mecuniv shined the knife. “How accustomed are you to physical pain?”

“I don't like pain...”

“Well...there's gonna be a lot of it...” Mecuniv leaned in and whispered in Shadow’s ear. “Once you're out of the way, I shall use your body to pull my lover's spirit up from the underworld, and we will be together again. Mecuniv was easy to dispose of...”

“What did you do with her? Who are you?!”

“Heheh…My name is Liziaqwa. I was sealed away, kept from my lover who had died. The mages said I was unstable and mad with power. I would destroy the order of the underworld. I was unable to reach it and meet my love, but now I shall use your body to bring him back. As for your girl...She took my place, sealed in the forgotten realm. She exists without senses, no sight, smell, hearing...she simply knows she exists and can do nothing to stop the torment. She feels nothing...You shall take his place...”

“No thanks, I don't feel like going to the underworld at the moment...nor do I enjoy the idea of banishment or being in sacrificial rituals.”

“Ha! And what do you propose to do about it!” Mecuniv’s eyes flashed and the pentagram began to glow. “You are helpless...” She plunged the knife into Shadow’s chest.

“…Are you really that stupid?”

“Hmm? What's going on?!” Liziaqwa stabbed Shadow again.

Shadow spoke in a dry sarcastic voice. “Oh ouch...the pain...it hurts...owe...oh please stop...it's agonizing...”

“Why won't you die?!”

“You didn't bother to check for magical artifacts. You thought you're 4th level pentagram seal could suppress every thing I could possibly possess. True my supernatural abilities are rendered useless, but you didn't think to check under the bed for my phylactery. Heh...nobody ever really expects necromancy. So old an art and so few still know it...”

“Grr! You're still bound! And I know the problem!” Liziaqwa got off of bed and crawled under, searching.

“I've also memorized a few scripts from the Necronomicon. For example...” Shadow started screeching an ear shattering dark chant. Skeletal hands reached out from the ground and pulled Mecuniv’s body back to restrain her.

“Ahh! s**t!” Liziaqwa struggled.

The hands undid Shadow’s bonds and he got off the bed to stand in front of her. “I'd like Mecuniv back now...”

“Never!” She struggled harder. “No way in hell I'm going back there!”

Shadow pulled the knife out of his chest. “Then perhaps I'll persuade you a different way...”

“You kill me, she'll have no body!” Liziaqwa continues struggling, glaring at Shadow. “And I could destroy her right now...it would only take a thought. Stay back or her soul will be gone forever...”

Shadow reached under the bed and pulled out the Necronomicon. “You've got nothing to bargain with. This ancient tome holds all the power...and I control it...”

“I-I swear I will...”

“You do that and I’ll cast you and your lover into a pit more horrid than anything your imagination can comprehend; the original Necronomicon holds domain over all the blackest of arts. Give me what I want and maybe I’ll do something generous...”

Liziaqwa trembled in Mecuniv’s body. “I won't go back there! To exist without purpose is worse than any fate you could throw at me! I-I won't...”

“You underestimate the black magic of the one true Necronomicon...a book filled with the foulest of black magick. It's pages contain tortures no being has dared to comprehend...mortal or otherwise…”

“W-what are you gonna do?”

“I suggest you give me what I want before you find out first hand what horrors the Necronomicon is capable of.”

Liziaqwa dropped her gaze, head limp. “Very well...but I demand a transfer!”

“I'll send you and your lover somewhere more pleasant once you bring Mecuniv back.”

Liziaqwa sighed. “I have no choice...You better hold up your end of the bargain or I'll come back to haunt you...somehow...”

“If I weren't a man of honor I'd be using this book to enslave the cosmos.”

“Very well...” Mecuniv’s body went limp.

“Mecuniv?”

Mecuniv’s head snapped up, fear reflected in her eyes. “Ah! Let me go!” The hands released her and she fell to the floor trembling. She clung to Shadow. “Babe? Is it really you?”

Shadow knelt down and held Mecuniv close. “Yeah, it's me.”

“Everything went blank all the sudden. I couldn't feel...or see...I couldn't hear your voice. I thought I had died, but there was no peace...” Mecuniv cried against his neck and trembled. “I was so scared...”

“It's alright Babe...I'm here for you...you’re safe now...”

Mecuniv cuddled closer. “I knew you'd save me...”

“Now to up hold my end of the deal...”

“Huh?”

“Step back a bit Babe, I need room to recite a chant from this tome.”

“Um, alright...” Mecuniv stepped back. “What's going on?”

“Fulfilling my end of the agreement I made with your captor, call it a ransom if you want.”

Shadow opened up the Necronomicon and flipped to a page. He started chanting in the dark language. Mecuniv sat on the bed and watched as the pentagram dissipated and shadows started to grow larger and darker.

“I'm still never gonna get use to this...”

Shadow stopped chanting, the room brightened back up slowly and everything felt normal again. “There.” He closed the book and slid it back where it was. “They shouldn't bother any one again...”

“So, I was captured...um...why?”

“Your captor wanted to sacrifice me to bring back her lover from the underworld. I agreed to reunite them in a pocket dimension in exchange for your release...”

“Oh...How the ******** did I let that happen?” Mecuniv fell back against the bed.

“That's a good question...though weirder things have happened...”

She sighed. “Oh well, I'm back...”

“Yes, I'm glad...” Shadow sat on the bed and held her.
