History (what has happened/happening to you?):
Zalden's real name is Bale Grimwolf, of the Grimwolf Clan. The Clan itself was, in many cases, an odd-ball Clan. It herald great warriors and powerful casters, yet rarely ever was involved with the Orc Clans' many wars with the Humans. The Grimwolf, while under the direction of Grisha, were very diplomatic, and in many cases, used their heads more than their brawn. They were seen as weak by the others.

As for Bale, his true age is unclear. However, his known history starts from when he was allowed to camp with the Frostwolves; accepted, yet not belonging to their clan (He was trying to find out what happened to his own). It's unclear if he was with Durotan and Orgrim when they declined the blood of Mannoroth or not, but Bale was one of the Frostwolves' 'Number One Camp Defenders' from Gul'dan's agents.

One of the most influential points in Bale's life was when Thrall appeared to the Frostwolves. There was something about Thrall, his posture as a leader, his calming mind, something, and that was something that bale was drawn to. It was only fitting that after Doomhammer revealed himself, and Thrall followed him to liberate captive Orcs, Bale was permitted by Durotan to follow Thrall. Before leaving, however, Bale finished constructing his ax 'Grimfang', the name given to the mighty ax to honor his people, who's fates were still unknwon to him.

Bale, usually the quiet one, immediatly objected to Doomhammer's plan to free the slaves, which basically involved Thrall getting himself captured and ruining the camps from the inside. He only agreed to the plan after he was allowed to start the uproars from the outside.

Doomhammer's death hit everyone accounted for hard (Minus Bale, who saw it coming), but Bale finally got to show his skills for combat at the Siege of Durnholde. When Thrall stormed the keep, Bale was in the front lines, destroying humans five per swing. He fought with the ferocity of the Tainted (Demonic Orcs), yet with a calm mind.

All orcs present escaped the Keep and met up with the Warsong Clan, however, something called to bale, away from Thrall or Grom. It was a a call to something else. Three days after the two groups met, Bale left the camp, promising Thrall that he would return.

This is where things are uncertain, but follows what many believe. Bale, with his little boat, crashed on the shore. He trudged the shore itself for a while, following the same voice, until he was confronted by a group of Humans, dressed in marine get-ups. He 'fought' them for a brief moment (Disarming two and knocking out another, without using Grimfang). He was escorted to their leader, Jaina Proudmore. This was odd, their enemy, coming to meet them as a mutual.

The voice, Jaina couldn't explain, but he wasn't brought there without a purpose. He traveled with them, but Jaina's forces were met with Warsong steel. During the fight, Jaina went into the mountain itself to seek a power to protect her people; Bale disappeared.

Orcs and Humans formed a pact, and were attacked by Kalimdor's natives: the Night Elves. Bale reappeared only once after the pact, asking Jaina to use any resource she could to find information about the Grimwolf Clan, which she agreed to, as did Thrall. Later, as a token of appreciation, Bale fixed the broken ax Grom used to finish Manoroth.

It's unclear what he found, but whatever it was, Elves guarded it. He gained their trust much like he did the humans. The place they protected was a Grimwolf grave site. For some reason, the Grimwolf were here long before Thrall's crew... much longer. What was inside has never been revealed, but it changed Bale's life, granting him a new power and mind. Grimfang came out with newly etched runes, and held a might few can rarely wield.

During the fight against Archimonde. Bale showed up to fight for Thrall's forces. Single swings blew away bits of earth under the bodies that were being torn apart. But not even his power could hold back Archimonde himself, so Bale did what he could, then backed off and let the plan go as it was laid out.

Bale, after the three-way pact, disappeared, much as he did at Stonetalon.
