Been a while since I updated this. Had many bizarre dreams within the past few months.
It's evening (or dawn. I got distinct 'evening' vibes, but I could be wrong), and I'm leading my mother and sister across a grassy countryside filled with hills and bridges. In hindsight, it reminds me of Twilight Town from Kingdom Hearts. I'm dashing ahead of them, making sure the road ahead is clear. I'm wearing a red and black ninja-esque outfit. Ahead, I see a wider bridge than the thin pathways we've been following leading to a large, crumbling fortress. On the bridge is a person, and from this distance I can only see that they're blond and clothed entirely in black. I tell my family to hold as I investigate further.
As I approach, I'm greeted with throwing knives that I recognize. It's Larxene, also from Kingdom Hearts, standing sentry on the bridge. I retaliate, first swinging a violet and silver axe, but the attack is so clumsy that she dodges easily. I back up and away from her in a panic, and the axe becomes throwing knives as well. I'm not sure why. In any case, I throw them at her, dodging her knives much more easily than I feel I normally would, and eventually one lands right in the center of her forehead. She dissolves into a black mist, leaving behind two cards: one with her portrait on it, and one depicting an augment to throwing knives. I take them both and proceed into the castle, but first get my mother and sister.
Inside the castle, it appears to be a Nobody base of operations. Dusks slink around, Dragoons and Samurai patrol the corridors, and the three of us are quickly accosted by a humanoid Nobody, though none I recognize. I want to say Marluxia or Luxord, even though neither of them look the slightest alike. We decide to bluff our way through, as I claim to be a new recruit, and my mother and sister to be prisoners of some kind. They let us through, and I take my mother and sister to a holding cell...but as soon as they leave us alone with the (solitary) guard, me and the two prisoners that were already in there (which look to be Tidus and Selphie) band together to take him out.
My mother and sister stay in the holding cell and we put it up as our base of operations within this castle, while Tidus, Selphie, and I head out to explore and determine the castle's purpose. We manage to avoid the guards, and find weapons for Tidus and Selphie. I can't figure out what happened to the axe from earlier, so I'm fighting bare-handed.
Deep in the castle, we find a stout woman who happens to be a demolition expert. She's here trying to destroy this castle, so we band together to help her. Eventually we find some kind of power core that powers the entire castle: if it goes boom, so does the castle. It takes us a long time and a lot of thinking, but we finally break through the blast-proof glass surrounding the generator room, and launch some explosives in there. We've taken too long to get in, though, and so we're confronted by Nobodies, including Xemnas himself. We shoot them all down, though I'm not convinced we killed them, and we all escape, including my family.
Weeks or months later, I'm traveling in a group with Tidus, Selphie, and a ton of displaced fighters we've picked up. My family's gone back home (and apparently live somewhere frighteningly similar to Triton Avenue from Wizard101), as it's safer for them. I'm not sure why we're traveling, or how everyone came together. In any case, we've been journeying for a couple of weeks, and stumble across a large brick tower. Inside, the linoleum and lighting remind me of a high school. I recall that we've heard stories of great treasure in here, though, so I decide not to let appearances deceive me. We make our way up the high school tower.
At the top, we find a large office. Inside is what appears to be a nun. I greet the nun, and she eyes me up before declaring that I must be the new hire. In this case, 'new hire' turned out to mean 'general in my take-over-the-world army'. I went along with it, though, and claimed the group with me to be some of my best soldiers (which was sort of true). At this point I think I was clothed entirely in black, like a member of Organization XIII. In any case, she welcomed us and even threw a party for us, which we took much advantage of...we hadn't had a proper meal in weeks.
When that was over, I got Tidus and Selphie (whom I trusted the most at this point) to distract the nun-warlord while the rest of us ransacked her office for the treasure we'd heard so much about. They were successful, to a point: I broke into her private room, but found nothing but candy. She must have had one hell of a sweet tooth, because every drawer, every cupboard was FILLED with candy. I was getting frustrated, but a quiet brown-haired man that might have been Squall said he found something hidden in the main room. We were about to make off with it, too, when I got a message from Tidus and Selphie that the nun-warlord had figured out what was going on and was coming back upstairs...so we all bolted. Some people grabbed food before running for it, and I wasn't sure whether to facepalm or applaud them for quick thinking.
We got outside and had made it to a beach where we were camped out and bonding and stuff, and the dream ended.
