Just so all of you know, these scenes are not in order, I'll type the entire finished story (or close to it) later, alright? I still cannot think of a title for the whole story, if you guys have any ideas, leave it in a comment, please.
"Isn't that sweet? The love of crossbreeds." Diamond's large wings arch gracefullly behind her back. She crosses her arms and smirks at Alexiel and Sabre, her long raven hair brushing against her carmel skin at the movement. "You both have tried to make it seem less obvious, but you both have failed. If you hadn't tried so hard, it wouldn't be so quite so obvious."
Alexiel swings her head to Diamond, her long black curls flowing about her. "Try being realistic for once, Diamond."
"So you are denying that you feel something towards him?" Diamond's wings disappear completely and all goes silent. A pack of wolves began to bay at the moon somewhere in the middle of the forsaken forest. The tall grasses whispered in the wind as the moonlight shone down through the tops of the trees turning everything in it's light an eerie silver. The shadows of the flames from the campfire danced across the faces of Diamond, Alexiel, and Sabre. "Well do you deny it or what?" Diamond said, breaking the silence.
"Well, of course I'm denying it." Alexiel answered with her arms crossed.
"Then why is his gaze possessive when he looks upon you. And if you are not feeling anything for one another, then why is it that as soon as you made your denial, his eyes became saddened and his gaze as dark as the night sky." Alexiel looked up at Sabre.
Diamond was, indeed, correct. Sabre's gray eyes seemed sad, hurt, and confused. It pained Alexiel to see him like that and she didn't know why. Alexiel stood, glared at Diamond, and approached Sabre. "Diamond, I implore you, please leave us, we must speak alone."
Diamond glanced between Alexiel and Sabre. "Fine, but I will bring this up later, you can count on that." She disappeared with nothing but a whisper in the wind.
Silence remained heavy around the two crossbreeds. "Why?" Sabre asked as he broke the silence.
"...I didn't...want them to know..." Alexiel breathed silently.
Sabre's gaze softened as he looked at her. "You could have told me...we could have worked out a plan to keep this a secret from the others..."
"It wouldn't have worked...they would have found out..." She kneeled beside him and placed a gentle hand on his shoulder. "I'm sorry..."
Sabre stood abruptly, shaking her hand off. "I'll talk to you in the morning." He turned away from her, and joined the others on the far side of the campfire.
Alexiel's eyes widened in confusion as he walked away and her hand remained outstrecthed. Soon, she stood and ran into the forest. I never should have denied my love for him. Alexiel contined to run through the forest.
Back at the camp, before Sabre reached the others, a soft breeze reached him and Diamond appeared not five feet in front of him. "Well, that didn't go too well." Diamond said quietly as she watched Sabre. He looked at her, his gaze darkening further. He maneuvered around her and continued toward the camp. Diamond stepped in front of him again. "You need to go after her."
"She denied my heart, because you got involved."
"So, you are saying it's my fault, that I made Alexiel deny your love for one another? Is that it?" His eyes moved away from her and he sat down on a boulder a few steps away from where they were standing. Diamond stood in front of him.
"Alexiel said that she didn't want anyone to know." Sabre said quietly as he ran a large tan hand through his black hair.
"I know...I heard..."
"Well..."
"Well no one else knows but me. That's because I notice a lot of things that the others don't. Plus having strong psychic abilities helps." Sabre just shook his head.
"I don't know what to do. I don't know what she wants me to do."
"Well, I'll go talk to her." Diamond started to shimmer into the mist.
"What if she changes her mind?" He said as he turned his brown eyes to her, but she had already disappeared.
Don't worry she won't but I need to find her before she burns down the entire forest.
Alexiel ran deeper and deeper into the forest. She felt her heart pounding in her chest. She left a trail of wild fire behind her as she ran. The trees, bushes, and shrubs caught fire as well. After a while her sadness ended only to become self-hatred. Why? Why did I deny mine and his love? Why didn't I just say how I felt?
Here is some more of it, I hope you guys like this.
Alexiel kept running and leaving flames behind her. Her foot caught on a tree root and she tumbled to the ground. After a few seconds, she pushed herself up with tears streaming down her face once more. As her tears hit the forest floor they turned into blue and white flames. The flames completely engulfed her in just a matter of seconds. Soon, she looked up at the stars glittering beyond the thik blanket of branches above her and screamed at the top of her lungs. Her siren abilities seemed to kick in and her scream became shrill and would surely make a human's eardrums bleed. Flames leapt from her body and caught the trees and shrubs closest to her. Fire quickly spread and soon, she had burned down her own clearing. Her screaming ceased and she fell to the ground. Darkness invaded her vision and she saw the moolight being overtaken by it. A shadow stood over her and placed something on her head. She tried to move, but it seemed that the object was able to paralyze her. The figure picked her up and threw her over it's shoulder, as if she were a sack of flour. She tried to move once more, but her limbs felt as if someone had chained her to some kind of unbreakable substance. Then she blacked out.
After what seemed like forever, Alexiel opened her golden eyes to see that she had been chained to a stone pillar. She pressed her head against the cold stone as she tried to think of what had just happened. She looked around to see that she was in a cavern of sorts. The cavern's ceiling peaked high above her head and water slowly dripped from it's stalactites. A round makeshift table was set in what seemed like the center of the room and a high backed chair was tucked underneath it. The sound of footsteps echoed throughout the room and she weakly turned her head. "I see that you are finally awake." A figure entered the corner of her vision. A young man with shaggy black hair and dark green eyes smiled maliciously at her. "Alexiel Silverlake, my, my, my, you certainly have become beautiful." He approached her and placed a hand under her chin. "Very beautiful indeed." Alexiel sneered at him and bit at him. He pulled his hand back, took out a whip, and whipped her across the cheek. "Tsk, tsk, tsk. For someone who's leading a small crossbreed rebel army, you're not very bright. Never anger someone who can kill you, my dear. You would do well to learn that." He paused. "Speaking of your army, what do you say we invite them to come?" He cracks the whip on the floor beside him. "Now, all you have to do is scream." He pulled his arm back and struck the whip across her back and Alexiel winces in pain. "Scream!"
I know this is short, but I have to fix some of the things on the next scene.
Alexiel... Suddenly someone had appeared in Alexiel's mind as a shadow. It was obvious the person was feminine. Alexiel... Alexiel felt her skin break as the whip cracked against her back again. Alexiel...Alexiel....Where are you?
Alexiel tried to respond but she was too weak. She tried to send even the smallest of messages but her sadness and her pain prevented her from sending it. "Scream!" The man yelled as he continued to crack the whip on her back. "They must come, and your scream will bring them here!"
Alexiel bit her lip with her fangs. With each hit, the strength of the blow increased. She felt her breath quickly leave her body as pain rushed to her, and she gave a small yelp. The man pulled the whip back and Alexiel released her lip. Blood dripped from her lip to the large pool of blood surrounding her and the pillar. Diamond's voice echoed in her mind, causing her pain that would not have existed under normal circumstances. she tried to respond one more time, but that would have taken up the last of her energy. So she spoke to her captor. "They...won't...come..."
The man's green eyes became hard, he raised a clawed hand, and struck her across the face. Alexiel's head hit the stone pillar with such force everything began to turn black. Three parallel scratch marks appeared from the man's claws and she felt them begin to sting. Shuffling footsteps pounded through her skull and she could imagine someone walking into the room. She heard the man's voice speak to this other person. "Take her to my old chambers."
"Yes, m'lord." A gruff pair of hands grabbed Alexiel's shoulders and began to drag her backwards. Before long, she felt herself being dragged down a short staircase, which only added to her pain. After a few more moments of being dragged, she felt the person throw her at a wall. Her back cracked against the wall and she felt herself fall onto something that was most likely soft at some point before now. Her eyes closed and she felt her consciousness begin to slip away. With her remaining energy, she sent a single telepathic message to Diamond. I have no reason to fight back...not anymore... With that final thought, she blacked out.
The moonlight shone down on Diamond Savage as she stood near a beautiful lake. The night air was still for a moment, but then she could sense a disturbance. The whispered to her the arrival of a friend and the pain of another. Diamond reached out with her hand and she felt thick white fur. She looked down to see her pet wolf, Frost, sitting beside her. He looked up at her and his hazy blue eyes reflected with sadness. Diamond raised her head towards the sky with her eyes closed. She took a deep breath of the cool night air, and changed into the form of a brown furry fox. She sniffed around the lake for a while until she could smell ashes. The wind whispered to her again, and this time it carried a new scent. Diamond caught this new scent and she realized that this thing's scent was mingled with Alexiel's scent. Whatever it was, it was most definitely not human. She turned back into her human form and resumed her hunt for Alexiel.
I can't type any more right now, I will in a few hours.
Diamond looked towards the sky and called out with her mind for Traian, her falcon. Sure enough, the golden-eyed falcon was there in a heartbeat. Diamond spoke to Traian soflty. "Traian, I need you to be my eyes above the trees, I will search the land alone." Traian bowed his head in agreement and took to the dark skies above, to search for clues of Alexiel's whereabouts.
Diamond switched into the form of a wolf and spoke to Frost with her mind. Go back to the camp and watch over the others for me. Make sure Mordecai doesn't do anything stupid. Traian and I will search for Alexiel. Frost gave an understanding nod and disappeared between the trees.
Diamond ran with quick yet light steps through the forest following the unknown scent that had reached her earlier. Maneuvering through trees and jumping over tree roots, she eventually came to small a clearing of tall grasses. She lifted her head and searched for the scent again.
Someone masculine had become a shadow in Diamond's mind, but she paid it no notice. She finally caught onto the unknown scent, and began to track it once more. Again, she bolted back into the forest to resume her search.
Diamond stopped at a large Sycamore tree and sniffed at the ground around it. The scent was stronger than before, she was close. She continued sniffing around the tree for a few moments, hoping to find out what took Alexiel. Suddenly Diamond's eyes changed from a cornflower blue to a deep royal purple. A dark angel...male...I'll rip his throat out.
She lifted her head and continued to run to the east, now at full speed in her wolf form. Suddenly, she heard Traian's call. She lifted her head towards the sky and Traian appeared above her. The falcon lifted his head in a gesture for her to follow him. He continued in the sky as Diamond ran below him.
Diamond stopped right in her tracks. The scent she was tracking was strong, but it had mixed with the scent of mist. She could hear the crash of water upon rocks coming from a clearing up ahead. As she approached the clearing, she noticed that Traian had perched himself right above her on an oak branch gesturing for her to look further ahead with his silver wing.
Diamond looked through the trees. She saw a beautiful waterfall, with sky blue waters that crashed down on moonlit rocks. She noticed a man stanind on the left side of the waterfall, an obvious target. She looked through the waterfall and noticed that there was an opening of sorts behind it. An entrance, maybe that is where Alexiel has been taken.
Diamond quickly changed back into her true form and called the man to her. As he approached her, she stepped from the shadows of the trees and met him half way. Her brown hair swayed beside her hips, and her light brown highlights seemed to shine in the moon's silver light. She lifted up her body to the man's and curled her arm around his neck. The shadow in her mind seemed to become a menace.
Her eyes suddenly changed to a royal blue in defiance. She swiftly broke the man's neck instead of taking his life essence like she had planned to do in the first place. The shadow in her mind, settled back down to nothing more than a shadow, and she gave him a mental blow to the guy as she approached the entrance behind the waterfall.
Using her mind, Diamond called Traian to her once more, and he rested on her arm. She walked silently through the cave, the scent of the Dark Angel becoming ever stronger. Her eyes went to a deeper purple as she became closer to the source of the scent. Diamond paused to look around and took notice that blue crystals on the walls, floor, and ceiling of the cave were the source of light. She listened for a few moments, but all she heard were drops of water dripping from the ceiling to the puddles on the floor. She looked straight ahead and looked down the two paths before her. "Well, Traiain, this is where we go our separate ways. You take the left and I'll go the right. If you find her, come find me, and lead me to her." Traian bowed his head and flew off to the left as Diamond continued to the right. The scent of the Dark Angel became sickening to her as it mixed with the dank, moldy, and thick smell of the cave.
Again, I know there isn't much action, but I promise it'll be better okay? Just please don't get mad at me.
Here's more mrgreen
A short demon with shoulder length gray hair and a hunched back, hobbled into the room. The cavernous ceiling towered high above him making him seem ever smaller. He approached a large makeshift table in the center of the room. Perched on a stool next to the table sat his master. "M'lord Shadir, I have placed the girl in your old chambers."
Dark green eyes turned toward the shorter demon. "Very good, when her wounds have healed, tie her wrists to that stone pillar. I will beat her until she screams. I must destory her and her rebel army." Shadir gives a cruel laugh. "Leave me, and watch the girl."
"As you wish, m'lord." The servant hobbles out of the room, leaving Shadir at the table.
Shadir's green eyes shone mischievously. "They'll dead before sunrise." A pair of black angel wings shoot from his back as he gives a laugh that echoes throughout the room.
Diamond's head rose and her eyes turned a bright purpe as a smirk played upon her lips. A laugh echoed from farther down the path she was taking. Her eyes turned back to dark purple as she jogged softly down the path, being sure to conceal her presence to all she did not want to know she was there.
She followed the echo until she came upon a door frame. She glanced at the dead vines and thorns climbed up the side of the door frame as she passed through the opening. Diamond could clearly hear the evil laughter from inside. She took a few more steps and her eyes landed upon a stone pillar off to her right. Chains were bolted onto the top of it, and a large puddle of blood around the pillar was beginning to dry. She turned her head to her left and saw a man sitting down at a table. His dark green eyes shone with evil and his shaggy black hair swayed as he leaend his head back. He lifted his legs and put his feet on the table as he continued laughing.
The shadow in Diamond's mind warned her that she needed to find Alexiel as fast as possible, or she might die. She gave the shadow another mental blow and sent them a vision through Traian's eyes to reassure that she was indeed doing both. Diamond had also cloaked Traian's presence from prying eyes, or minds in this case. The person in her mind receded back into the shadows swiftly.
Diamond took a step toward the green eyed dark angel and started to form a cloud of mist throughout the room. The dark angel stopped his maniacal laugh and took his feet off the table. He stood abruptly and raised his black wings. His eyes became darker as he walked through the room. "Who goes there?"
Diamond dissolved into the mist and began to toy with the man's mind. A hundred voices started to run through his head. As for Diamond, she became nothing but a shadow there, look through his memories and taking out all the crossbreeds and innocent people that he had killed and projecting their voices and cries into his mind. "Stop it...Stop it...I can't hear you..SHUT UP!!" He yelled as he clamped his palms over his ears. Diamond pulled the voices back and he lowered his hands as he looked at her. "Who are you?"
"That's none of your business. Where is she?"
Shadir crossed his arms and raised his head. "I don't know who you're talking about. Describe this person to me so that I may tell you if I've seen her." He gave a smirk.
Diamond growled and took a menacing step toward him. "Don't you play dumb with me! I tracked your scent along with her through the forest, I know that you took her, now where is she!?"
He gave an aggravated sigh. "Fine, you win. I'll let you see her." Shadir spread his dark feather wings and flew into the air. He hovered, stuck his arm out, and began to chant softly. As he did so, pieces of shadoes came from the corners and crevices of the cavernous room and began to take shape in his outstretched hand. He ceased his chanting and the dark shape in his hand became the bloddied, bruised, and unconcious Alexiel. "Is this the girl you're looking for?" He asked mockingly.
Here's more just like I promised.
"Let. Her. Go. Now!" Diamond said as she gave him a glare to end all glares.
He sighed in an exasperated way. "Very well." He lifted Alexiel by the neck and threw her toward the stone pillar to which she had been chained before. Using telekinetic abilties, he locked Alexiel's wrists into the manacles and forced her to face toward her friend. "Go on, I dare you." He crossed his arms and waited to see what Diamond would do next.
And more
Diamond glared at him, knowing that he had most likely set a trap. There was no way she could help Alexiel until this Dark Angel was dead. She stood straight and lifted her hand. A staff materialized and she changed her position so that she would be ready for any attack he could throw at her. "Get read to die!"
Shadir shook his head. "My, my, my, aren't you violent? We aren't even properly introduced and you already want to kill me? Why is that?"
"Because you hurt my best friend, that's why."
"If it's a fight that you want, I will gladly give it to you, but you will not be able to beat me." At least not on your own. He thought to himself.
Diamond quickly summoned her wings and charged at Shadir, with her staff raised. He summoned a staff of his own and easily blocked her attack. He blocked it! No one but Alexiel has every blocked my attack! Diamond's eyes widened slightly, but she pressed on. A blade appeared on the side ofher arm and she swung it at Shadir to make him take a few steps back. Just as she had predicted, he stepped back and blocked her blade, leaving the smallest opening in his guard. Using her other arm blade that she had kept hidden, she swiped at his unprotected side. His eyes widened at the unexpected attack and he glared at her with his now glowing green eyes.
