Background: Alexiel was abandoned as a baby by her father, when a middle-aged human couple, whose names were Magierie and Robert, had found her in the middle of a forest. When she was two years of age, Magiere discovered that young Alexiel was a demon. Humans had become afraid of the demon race, and tried their best to avoid them, but when they did cross paths, there was always a fight. Since she knew that she would not dare to kill Alexiel, seeing as how she was a child and that her husband, Robert, would not allow it, she began to push the child away, and on the girl's fifth birthday, Magiere convinced/threatened her husband into selling Alexiel as a slave, just to be rid of her.
