Today was my third day of accademics (I started school 2 weeks ago Wednesday and we started shop Friday, so I only had 2 accademic days).
I'llk start off by telling you all my classes, where they are and a little bit about the teachers.
First I have double algebra ( gonk ) with Mrs. Sachse (pronounced "Sax" wink . The classroom is right near my locker in the south wing, which I don't use. But anyway, Mrs.Sachse is alright I guess, she talks alot and on the first day she told us, "You may write in either pen or pencil, it doesn't matter. Blood, however, is not acceptable." That's about the closest thing she got to saying something cool stare
Moving on: Next is double English with Mr. Keany (we are not allowed to call him Mr. Zucchini because that would really annoy him). Englsih is in the west wing. Mr.Keany is the best teacher I've had at this school so far. He gets off track all the time and we start talking about South Park and how the old man in the Old Man and the Sea is/isn't a sex offender.
After that I have lunch cheese_whine . Yay, lunch 4laugh It's hard to find a table because nobody sits in the same place they did the day before. So, I ended up sitting with Kenny, Brendan, Liz and two people I didn't know. Right after lunch I have gym ( xd ) which is not that far away (down the ramp, down the stairs, to the left).
Then I have to go all the way back upstairs to the west wing for History with the teacher that I can never remember her name sweatdrop She's pretty cool, not too mean or anything, she's really nice, but she doesn't make class fun.
Then it's back to the gym for yoga and self-defense(I already told you about that)
Then I have science with Mr. Ronan in the north wing. He seems nice and all, but he kinda scares me. He's always telling us how his favorite thing to talk about in biology class is puberty confused It's really creepy.
Anyway, today in English we were talking about gambling (it's the basis of the next book we're reading) and how, for some reason, grandmas like to go to casinos and such. We were talking about how gambling gave people rushes and then Mr.Keany compared gamblers to crack addicts O.o. He said (using wonderful scientific terms) "if you brought a crack head and a gambler into one of the science labs and attached those little thingys that read brain waves onto their heads. And then gave the druggie some crack and the gambler a scratch ticket, the little bleepy things on the screen would be the same." This has no point, I just thought it was weird that a teacher said that. We started reading the book, "Man from the South" By Roald Dahl and the guy was sitting outside of a hotel watching a bunch of kids play in the pool. The teacher asked what we thought of the guy and Nick said, "He's kinda gross, sitting there watching the kids swimming."
Mr. Keany replied, "Yeah, yeah, with our sick corrupted 2007 minds we think 'Aw that freak, watching little kids in the pool....sicko!' No, no. He is not a pervert, he is not a sex offender..."
One of the other boys interupts with, "Santiago [[Old man from Old man and the Sea]] was."
With this Mr. Keany slammed his head on his desk and tried to convince us that he wasn't.
In Yoga I nearly killed myself trying to do push ups on the squishy floor mat. THen Kenny had to tell us that those little brown stains on the mat....is blood from the wrestlers. burning_eyes
At one point we hall had to kneel down and put our heads on the floor with our arms stretched out in front of us. I looked up and it seemed as if we were all bowing to some invisible being in the middle of the room. [Hail Lord Apollo! Making us hail peoples in school... rolleyes ]
Yeah, I'm getting tired of writing so I'll just shut up now. If you actually read all of that, then I thank you for either taking time out of your life to read this, or letting me know that you have less of a life than me^^
