Amakakeru Ryu No Hirameki (Heavenly Dragon Flash)
The succession technique of Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu. The move starts out with the battou jutsu stance. The distinct characteristic of this move is that it ends with the left foot forward instead of the usual right. The sword is weilded in a powerful upward strike.
Battou Jutsu (Sword Drawing Art)
Battou jutsu is the most basic move of Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu. It starts with the sword in the sheath, when the user strikes the right foot moves forward and the sword is drawin out at God-speed.
Do Ryu Sen (Ground Dragon Flash)
The strike is directed to the ground causing an immense force to send flying debris at the opponent.
Kuzu Ryu Sen (The Nine-headed Dragon Flash)
A move that attacks the nine different targets that are taught in sword weilding at the same second. The nine different points are: the head, left and right shoulder, left and right arm, chest, left and right waist, and the left and right leg. This technique can only be defeated with the succession technique.
Ryu Kan Sen (Asending Dragon Flash)
Kenshin spins around in a circle and delivers a backhanded swing at the opponent, aiming for the neck. Ryu Kan Sen is developed for counter-attacks rather than an initial strike.
Ryu Kan Sen Kaogarashi
An enhanced version of Ryu Kan Sen that allows a more immense blow at the opponent.
Ryu Kan Sen Tsumuji (Dragon Windup Flash Spiral)
Another enhanced version of Ryu Kan Sen. Kenshin spins to the right to avoid the opponent's blow and then lands to strike his opponent at their waist.
Ryu Tsui Sen (Flying Dragon Flash)
The most frequently used technique by Kenshin. Kenshin leaps into the air and strikes his opponent on the head with the help of gravity and built up velocity.
Ryu Tsui Sen Zan (Flying Dragon Flash Slash)
This is an enhanced version of Ryu Tsui Sen. The blade is directed at the adversary's head, resulting the opponent's head to be cut into two.
Ryu Shou Sen (Rising Dragon Flash)
Kenshin holds the bottom of the blade with it horizontally above his head. Then the strike is directed upwards at the opponent's neck.
Hi Ryu Sen (Flame Dragon Flash)
The basic battou jutsu action in which the user weilds the sword out fo the sheath at God-speed making the sword fly upward and directed at the hilt.
Ryu Sou Sen (Double Dragon Flash)
Shintai used this technique in the volume 19 of the manga. It is basically just repeated blows at the opponent within a split second. This one is designed to bring down opponents which haven't been defeated with the first blow.
Ryu Sou Sen Garami
An enhanced version of Ryu Sou Sen. The only difference is that this one is directed at the adversary's neck.
Sou Ryu Sen (Paired Dragon Flash)
Kenshin developed this technique for his sakabatou since it couldn't be drawn out as fast as a regular sword. The technique is done just like battou jutsu with the sword drawn from the sheath with God-speed. The sheath is moved for a second attack once the first blow is blocked or dodged by the adversary.
Shin Ken Defense (Heart of Sword)
The tip of the blade is pointed at the adversary, allowing the user to strike the opponent's nine vital points when the opponent attacks.
