Contemplations of a knight
So often lost in quiet contemplations, viewing the world through wolven eyes... This is stuff. Just stuff. Stuff fueled by video games, boerdom and hotdogs. Its my personal fanfic/drawing/poetry log now. Like what you see? Leave a comment!~ :3
The Tactitian
User ImageTactitian knight Miyuu san-Indigo

The third and probably last of the legendary wolfknight's lives, this one also happens to be a Bale Dweller, living happily in the Slambert household's storage room. Her name also happens to be Indigo, though she has dropped her Slambert title to be with the one she truly loves and cares about; Lavitz himself.

No longer holding the burdens of the Grief lord or the pure blood of a wolfknight, Indigo has a calm exterior, but when flustered she can get rather panicky. Being a tactitian demands keeping your cool though, so she is slowly working on it. She is also easily frightened by quite a few small, simple things.

Indigo was born a wandering nomad, who one day fell from the sky, or so the nomadic people say. Taking her as a gift from the divine tree, they raised her, surprised that the girl child was already gifted in the arts of war and spearsmanship.

When she was old enough, she left the nomadic tribe to forge her own way in the world. She was accompanied by an older half-wingly, who remembered her from the days of old. She practiced her technique, hoping to become a knight in King Albert's court. However, she never passed the training. For one thing, she was female, therefore wasn't taken as seriously; and for another thing, her eyes were weak, not being able to see clearly in the distance. Her wingly friend left her, and she turned angrily away from Bale.

A few days later, however, she was back. But this time it was to study books and manuscripts about attacks and strategy. Her short time away from Bale had been spent in Lohan, playing games of chess against the pub regulars, and herself. Someone hinted that there was high demand for tactitians nowadays, and she should consider becoming one. She was doubtful at first, since it was only games of chess that she played, but when an experienced knight came and stayed at Lohan's inn, he remarked on her skills as a strategist.

It was while studying the attack patterns of Basilian knights did she run into Lavitz. The rumor was that he just walked back home one day as if nothing had happened. He seemed almost surprised to see her, but soon demanded to know why she had been spying on a recruit training session. They parted ways after she explained she was a tactitian. However, they met up again when Lavitz, out for an early walk, stumbled across her sleeping under a tree close by the city borders.

Since the previous Sandoran family had moved out a while ago, he invited her back to his home, on the condition that she be his personal tactitian. She agreed. Lavitz soon found it was harder to live with a nomadic tactitian than he first though. It seems he is still attempting to figure out her true intentions toward him.

As for the art: God damn it, this has to be one of the most detailed peices I've done. Not detailed as in shading or any of that crap, but detailed as in the design of the clothes. I've never drawn that much designs on a character before, since they usually turn out shitty. I actually half based this one on Canas the black mage... sorcerer... ancient magic user... whatever he was from Fire Emblem... hence the black shirt thing underneath her coat-cloak. Heck, idk what its called.

If I get time, I'll have to do up the rest of her history. Because there's three lives. The wolfknight paladin, the paladin Grief, and the tactitian. Though I have yet to draw the original wolfknight. And that's going to be hard.
