Contemplations of a knight
So often lost in quiet contemplations, viewing the world through wolven eyes... This is stuff. Just stuff. Stuff fueled by video games, boerdom and hotdogs. Its my personal fanfic/drawing/poetry log now. Like what you see? Leave a comment!~ :3
The Knight

The Knight of many names, Slayer Vivian
(Note that Indigo doesn't really have a tail, just the ears)

The only known survivor of the island of Thyria, land of the were-people. The young girl of 16 fled her land due to an invasion from the Panthera, a race of cats from another nearby island. Her original name being Slayer Rotokue, she was considered a girl of contemplation. Silent, thoughtful, but when angered a terrible force to deal with. Vivian seemed to have a certain kinship with the Wild Knight Forde, and Legault the Hurricane.

After weeks on the sea, without charts nor any idea where she was heading to, she sailed into a storm, and was nearly drowned as her boat crashed against the reefs. She washed up on the shores near Tibeora, and was found by a young mercenary named Saramek Kalefor. Surprised to find a shipwrecked girl along the coast, he took her back to his guild, where the mercenaries of the Saith raised her back to health and taught her their skills. She became one of them, a mercenary thief, but due to a bump on her head from the reefs, she couldn't remeber her past or why she had been sailing in the ocean. At a loss, the Saith named her 'Pup' due to her wolfish appearance.

Since business in the guild wasn't any good, they moved on and enlisted in the Sandoran army. Through their many skirmishes with the Basilian troops, there was one battle where she saved a Basilian's life from the mistreatment of her troops. he never forgot about it, and returned the favor a few years later, saving her life during a battle between the first regiment of Serdio, and the fifth regiment of Sandora, which consisted of the Saith mercenaries. Nearly all the Saith died in that fateful battle, a few thieves managing to escape with their lives. Saramek was among the last few standing, but was struck with a spear, and died in Pup's arms.

The Basilians took her prisoner and brought her back to Bale. She didn't resist them, having seen too much death and destruction of the people she had called family. She was taken before the king, who allowed her to live, despite the fact that she was Sandoran. He couldn't release her, in case she returned to Sandora, yet they couldn't keep her because the town would think it crazy. To prove her worth, she would work within the castle until he knew for sure that she could be trusted. He called upon the knight who had saved her, the head of the First regiment and childhood friend, Lavitz Slambert, and told him that he was to be the keeper of this young Sandoran.

She spent her first few weeks sleeping uneasily, barely aware of what happened around her, what she was told. Lavitz called her Indigo out of fondness, and since her hair seemed that way when she stood out in the sunlight, which wasn't often. She was assigned to work as a maid in Indels Castle, but there, they gave her the name of Vivian. She worked quietly, seemingly oblivious to the jeers and names that the wary townsfolk called her.

The only person she ever talked to with her voice, was Lavitz. The knight always listened to her and she felt that she owed him a debt for saving her life. When he wasn't away at war and she wasn't busy in the kitchens, the two of them were always together, almost as close as siblings. It was Lavitz who gave her the hawk Esprida, whom she cared for and loved. The bird went with her everywhere until some citizens, still angry about having a Sandoran in their midst, stole the hawk away and killed it. She was horrified when she found out, but kept it to herself, continuing to work as silent as ever in the castle.

Lavitz, feeling her sadness, took her up as his squire. Despite being in the Sandoran military, she knew litle about the arts of war. He taught her and trained her under his spear, but because of where she stood in Bale's community, she was too afraid to approach King Albert and get herself knighted. He sent her off to the Tenth Regiment while he was away warring against Sandora. It was there that she met the half wingly Shiron. The two became fast friends, as Shiron himself was also slightly outcasted due to his upbringing in Mille Sesau. It was in the tenth regiment that she earned her title of the b*****d knight, one of Sandora's own who had turned against it. Nobody knew where she had come from, and nobody knew where she was going.

It was around this time that Lavitz became a dragoon. He returned briefly to Bale then set out again for Hoax, accompanied by Dart and Shana. Indigo met up with him during the night, and it was then that they made a pact, in which they would regard each other as siblings forevermore. When Bale was captured by Sandora and Albert kidnapped, the knights were somewhat in a state of panic. Vivian was off in the plains when it all happened, sleeping in one of the trees. A dream came to her that night, where Lavitz told her what happened to him, and how he'd asked her to take care of his mother. She awoke cold, despite the warm night, and knew that the dream had been true.

In her grief, she left Bale, as it reminded her too much of what had come to pass. She spent a few months in Lohan, fighting in the colluseum. She vowed to return to Bale one day, and she did, eventually. Most of the citizens didn't recognize her, and she was quite grateful for that. Lavitz's mother happily took her in again, since they'd been together for so long, she was family. Shiron was also happy to see her again, and she finally gained her knighthood after training as his squire. She took up Lavitz's family name and swore to do her knightly duty in his name. Vivian overheard some knights talk about Mayfil and how Lavitz had been there. She couldn't get the story off her mind afterward, and soon set out on a journey again. She had to find Mayfil and see for herself. She ached to know if Lavitz was really there. One night, she slipped away, heading for the Death City Mayfil. She never returned.

Another tale is that Vivian appeared in a land in the sky, to fight her arch enemy, Kozen the Panthera lord. She was joined by a small band of warriors captured from various lands and continents. It was amongst these warriors that she met the Wild Knight, Forde and his younger brother. They banded together with the purple eyed adept, Ivan and the centaur knight Ken. In the midst of one of their many wars, she encountered Legault and took him into her care, despite the suspicions of him being a spy.

Against the Panthera's five; the ghosts of Kozen's army, Legault is said to have died at the hands of the fiend Rekka. He was avenged before he hit the ground, slain by the ghosts of Lavitz Slambert and Saramek Kalefor, who had also been caught up in the war, and realized how hard the blow would fall for Vivian if she lost another of her close friends

The war is said to have ended with Kozen and his half brother Kalman slain at the hands of Lavitz's ghost and Vivian. However, both ghost and wolfknight had suffered injuries, and being bound to each other in spirit they disappeared somewhere in the island. The rumor is that when Lavitz's ghost faded, Vivian died with him, not wishing to be parted from him for any longer.
