I'm so happy! Davis and Laura went out. Davis had a great time. Laura did too, but Skylar managed to convince her Davis was too 'touchy' and break up with him. I'm pretty sure Sky knows hypnotism or something. But, back to my story. Laura and Davis like each other, but Sky's gotten to Laura. And once Sky gets to you, it's a long way back.
Davis and Laura and Stephanie told me their sides of the story. I believe Stephanie's the most- sort of. I believe Stephanie because I have no reason not to other than my 'Skylar's a hypnotist' theory. I believe Davis, too though because- no, wait. I'm getting to that.
I kinda believe Laura's side, but today she was dressed like Skylar, like Becca did. They and Katie went to the mall this weekend and got matching hair thingys. Laura was wearing hers, and- get this- KNEE HIGH SOCKS. She got some at the mall with Skylar apparently. One word- hypocrite. She hated how Becca and Sky spent so much time together, and she hated how they dressed alike, and then- oh wow. Matching dyed hair thingys and matching knee high socks. Oh. Wow.
This is where I get back to the basics. Laura dumped Davis- leaving him OPEN. mrgreen I may kinda sorta like Davis a bit. Ya know, "maybe." You know what I mean.
Our 7th and 8th grade Valentine's Day Dance is coming up. wink Laura will probably say no if Davis asks her. He's not going to ask Sam, they hardly talk at all. He can't ask a popular girl because he and Rachel Trueblood from last year. [Long story. I don't want to type it.] He doesn't have many people to ask anymore without 'dancing backwards.'
And I have a list of reasons why he may ask me.
1) We have 2nd period together
2) We talk a lot during lunch
3) We're always kidding around
4) I have a lot of guy friends. It's not like I don't know how do drop a hint.
I have more, but I'm being lazy. The party invites look cool! I'm giving them out on Thursday if I remember. I've decided- I'm making a white cake with pink food coloring and strawberry icing. I'm going to decorate my room. I have several games planned. [None of them involve mad girl love make out sessions, thank you. This is not Lesbian Dating Service. They live across the street.]

I wrote a song a few minutes ago. It's called 'Since the Beginning.' I also dug up an old song titled 'The Perfect Shade of Midnight.' It's really cool sounding. I absolutely love it. I'm singing it right now. 4laugh
I think if Davis hasn't asked me in 2 weeks, I'll ask him to the dance. Maybe. If I can build up enough courage to do it. But I really want to go for it. He makes me so happy without trying. It's so.... ugh. I hate it, but I'm happy I feel it. Don't. Ask.
