Self Sacrifice
One glance at Ceru's tattered poor condition told her she needed to lead the Driders from here and from him. As the largest of the Driders approached her, pulled her upon him so that she sat painfully astride, and strode away she didn't resist. The others fell in behind their alpha and followed the path away from the cavern, Ceru, and any safety she may have felt while in hiding here. She was sure she had seen Ceru's chest move in slight heaves so maybe if the Driders had no reason to linger there Ceru may recover and find a way free of his bonds, at least it was worth trying. In any case, he shouldn't be made to suffer for helping her. They walked for sometime before they came to the a huge, ominously dark, unnaturally cold cavern enterance, which the Driders all poured from entering into the forest in the dark of night like some sort of hideous black plague. As they approached it's gapping maw she could see the form lurking beneath the cool blanket of darkness and she could sense the terrible nightmare that lie just beyond vision. She hadn't been conscious for the whole ride, but she could sense that they were traveling at the supernatural speeds that only a determined, well motivated Drider squadron could muster. She could only imaging the things Lloth may have offered them as a reward for seeing her safely back beneath the blankets of the Under Dark. Their elven forms back, perhaps for starters or maybe they had come to like their monsterous forms with all their horrible strength, stealth, and speed. Maybe the offer was favor or more power. Among the Drow society, stations and ranks were everything after all. Who knows, all she knew for sure was now she was being escorted back down into the cool dampness she had hoped to have left behind forever and she felt no reassurance in her abilities to escape again. She slumped over in her self defeated sadness and began to cry, large warm tears that splattered down upon the Driders armored skin and ran in little rivelettes down his spider torso making their way upon the ground only to be left behind in the Drider hordes wake.
