...pick it up. Or, for a simple example's sake, it could be like that one guy who hacked the government and then they gave him a job to improve the defense systems.
I do, however, agree that it could be clarified and would, in that manner, become more appealing to the general masses who may not try to read it over to grasp its meaning. - Report As Spam

Like it. I had to re-read it before I caught the implication, though. Fortunately, you try hard enough and it's a quick enough read that most wouldn't be daunted by that.
@Jeff Caramel, the idea is that a hacker can get a 'job' or a higher ranking as a hacker by hacking the person who they wish to replace on the underground totem pole. In this case, the unemployed biologist who wishes to take a job has rigged his application to infect and therefore remove the biologist who would unknowingly... - Report As Spam
