- Description: Anybody who's read and of the Ryan's Story stuff knows that Ryan has more reason than most kids his age to be all angsty and emo. Guess it was about time I drew an emo version of him. This probably takes place some time after chapter 13 when Ryan is starting to feel the pressure of his situation.

- The background is a photo of the beach at Looe in Cornwall. Looe is the real-world location used as a model for Cliffport in the Ryan's Story series. The graffiti tag on the sign (which reads "No Ball Games No Skateboarding" wink reads "Ryebread", which is Ryan's childhood nickname.
