The picture is of Howon, a warglass weapon, who is peaking over the lip of a nuclear energy resavoir.
The image comes from a short story called "Pip" describing a intersteller vessel coming to a planet that is guarded by orbital weapons. The vessel had been stolden from a shipyard, and piloted by street thugs. One of the thugs is later saved by Howon when the ship is shot down over the planet. - Date: 01/29/2009
