Another tiger painting (I have another one from last year in my gallery titled "Tiger Tiger"). Did it today for the heck of it, it's painted in acrylic on black illustration board. Too big to scan so I took a picture, hence the sort of strange colors.
I still think it looks...Grrrrrrrrrrrrr-eat! [insert drum and cymbal noise here]

- What is this tomfoolery!? An actual painting?! In the Painting and Drawing section of the Art Arena? The nerve! Yeah all that to say I LOVE IT. The highlights of the yellow orange to the shadows of the red orange, the bits of white brushstrokes on the nose and especially, the suggestion of shape in a deep, deep, black shadow. I've always been a fan of rough, impressionist-like brushstrokes. This is really refreshing to see.
