i thought up a story for this as i was drawing it, her name is yuki and she is the goddess of courage or wisdom (i forget which 1 :P) she is part snow fox and has 9 tails, 8 of her tails can turn into any form she wishes but she likes them to take the form of kids and calls them her children and little helpers
i did this a couple months ago and was thinking about making a comic but i don't think i will
