I took this photo just yesterday at about 7pm (pst).
I turned around while I was hiking to see the sun setting over the mountains that surrounded the valley I lived in. The photo doesn't quite capture the essence of the moment, but it did a better job that I thought it would.
The lens flair from the camera being pointed at the sun is intentional. - Date: 05/20/2010
