Winter comes like a cautious
Sly thief.
Slowly
The world turns cold
Like a freezer.
Ice slowly appears,
The wind howls,
Bringing snow,
The air cools and chills you,
Snow falls,
Covering the world in a white blanket.
With winter,
Soon comes Spring.
It welcomes you,
Like a dear fond friend.
Bringing life back to the world,
Flowers bloom in delight,
Birds sing in happiness,
For with spring,
Comes new hope.

Description:
This is a poem about winter like sneaking up on you slowly. Like you know it's coming but it still manages to sneak up on you. Of course following winter comes spring and I like spring because once winter is over, spring seems to bring everything back to life.
There you do, that was why I wrote it this way. Hope you enjoy!
