I sit on the cold, hard bench
With all the memories of the times we have spent
The icy wind blows through my hair
As I sit upon this chair
I wonder why I bother
As the temperature decreases farther
And as I am pondering why
Little white flakes fall from the sky.
It adds to the blanket upon the ground
That covers the life of what cannot be found.
It shines in the sunlight, like crystalline glass
And I wish i could see the green, luscious grass.
Finally I hear what I have waited to see,
I turn to see you smiling at me.
For you are the reason why I sat in the cold,
Though I would have waited until I were old.
One word was said, and i knew it was true
That this was the time I would last see you.
Three years have passed, and I am alone
I stop as I walk by your cold, empty Home.
A single tear slides down my face,
Though i do not worry, for you are in a better place.

- Description: This is a poem that i wrote because i was feeling sad that day. I had just lost someone very important to me, and so i wrote a poem for him. Sorry that the description is a little bad. I'm not good at that kind of stuff.
