There's this thing; it's called love.
I thought I loved you.
I helped you and held you
when you needed it most.
I let you in when no one else would,
I warmed your soul, since I thought I could.
It's that season you see, when everyone's kind.
How in the world could you be so blind?
When everyone pushed you away
I opened my doors to you, I kept you here.
You cried to me just like old times
and I reminded you that everything would be fine.
So why would you leave, why betray?
When I gave you all, and I let you stay?
I thought you wanted to prove I could trust you,
I thought you said you wanted to be better.
So, am I deaf? Did I mishear your words?
Or am I just crazy? Lovely to hear.
Is it cold out there, under the stars?
When it snows do you freeze?
You broke my trust, but I still can't hate you,
come back when you'd like, it's warmer inside.
For you see it's that season when everyone's kind...
and I still love you even if you are blind.

- Title: Trusted In You
- Artist: Edward the Beloved
- Description: Ah-- this is really really stupid-- I know. But, it's... pretty much about a person... who has a really good friend, and they help this friend through a hard time which is happening through November and December. The person is a comforter to the old friend, and does their best to be a good host, and then in the end, their friend betrays. Dumb.
