• The three most important holidays of all
    unite as one during December,
    and people around the world become a big happy family,
    and you better watch out
    because it doesn't matter what you are,
    but who you are during this time of year.

    Dreidle Dreidle I made you out of clay,
    and then I lit the Menorah with the lights of day.
    Eight long days of winter passed,
    and you did not let us down,
    and now we celebrate you on the Kizel 25th.

    Next follows the lighting of the Kinara,
    seven days of light from the 26th till the 1st.
    Mazao, Mkeka, Kinara, Muhindi, Mishumaa Saba,
    Kikombe cha Umoja, Zawadi, Bendera, and Nguzo Saba Poster,
    the nine symbols unite and make the holiday true.

    Then with the first snow flake followed by the jingles of bells,
    old Saint Nick comes to town on the 24th.
    Little kids dream of candy canes and stockings,
    and Ruldolf's nose glows,
    then the little ones wake on the 25th
    and have a big surprise!

    The kids are laughing with glee
    and the adults are all drunk,
    but remember it doesn't matter what you are,
    it's who you are at this time of year.
