• The ferris wheel is turning,
    bolts ticking like a clock.
    Town bells keep singing,
    ringing twelve O'clock.

    Black wings spread free,
    walls of feathers blocking sight.
I am now unable to see,
    the blinding light.

    Choking on the scent,
    of dirty drying blood.
Dead bodies swim in the pools,
the cause of a terrible flood.

    Sleeping with the roaches,
    crawling in the lobby.
    A blanket of childhood,
    a little bedtime story.

    Flame and flame again,
    engulfing soul-less bodies.
    Killing all these humans,
    another murderous copy.

I stare up at the sky,
    white fluff staring me down.
    Through those burning eyes,
    I've officially been drowned.
