I prefer dreams to reality.
You're a better person in dreamland.
I never feel ignored by you.
You never hurt me.
When I cry, when I feel alone,
You hold me tight,
And I know you love me too.
I know you care about me.
In my dreams, I have never faced your rejections,
And you've never broken my heart.
It's just the two of us together.
And so, when I wake up,
To face reality,
I cry.
