Yeah, I wish they had better shields, but simply not giving Alucard a shield is not an option. It's symbolic of Konami taking the Castlevania main protagonist in a completely different direction. Instead of having a whip, he gets a sword and shield as his starting weapon.
I mean, shields are pretty badass, it kind of surprises me that Gaia is so lame about putting in some cool ones. There's like millions of different swords and other weapons, yet only like, 1 proper shield? - Report As Spam
