Miyavi (Takamasa Ishihara) was born on Sept. 14, 19 1981(?) in Japan. He intentionally wanted a bass guitar but instead he bought a guitar because they didn't have the bass he wanted. At age 15, he picked up on music after an injury. Now he is one of the most idolized musicians in japan, mixing a funky-glam style with modern-day music.
