Description:
Ponyo is a young fish-child, raised by a wizard with her smaller fish-sisters. One day she is brought to the surface on the back of a jellyfish, where she is captured and eventually becomes human thanks to a boy named Sosuke. She is swept back to sea by her jealous father, but she rebels and her mother, Granmamare, offers Sosuke a test to allow Ponyo to remain in her human form.
