Salamanders are the elemental spirits of fire. Mischievous spirits in nature, like children they do not fully understand the results of their actions, which can affect the thoughts and actions of people around them.

- She is not really child like only her level of reasoning is. Honestly a salamander is a very dangerous thing to play with or get close to. Her flat almost empty looking eyes are that way because she happens to be in state of calm.

- It's really good. The only thing I would have changed is the eyes since these ones don't really give off the 'child-like' feeling from your description.
