I have to agree with Hikariyamiangel. Emo is a
type of music that evolved from the 80's genre
known as Emotive Hardcore. Now we are living in a
new generation and MTV has yet again put "EMO" in
the young generations head into thinking that
"Emo" is short for emotional. If you are at all
emotional I'd say go see a shrink. Otherwise stop
