- Description: I panted heavily, my breath was labored, and heat clouded my eyes. My sweat was dressing my body, as vultures started to circle around me. My vision was blurred, and an illusion drove me forward. It was my mother; she called to me “Come on you can make it.” I fell to my knees as the image of her evaporated into the air and sand blew into my eyes, causing them to shut tight. I had never felt so weak before ....
