Now Spring has sprung,
New flowers unfurled.
The Sophalis Sprites,
Have returned to the world.
They rove in groups,
Of four and of three.
Spreading their magic,
To sky, land and sea.
For in their absence,
All the flowers, and leaves,
Remain drab and colourless,
Beneath winter's eaves.
They chatter like children,
Frolicking in the soft breeze.
Bringing hue to the landscape,
With calm, graceful ease.
