- Description: Here sits an abandoned bird house. Many a family of song birds have roosted here, robins, sparrows, and chickadees, just to name a few. Now this structure which has housed so many sits cold and abandoned. The fungus has become overgrown and the rose garden becomes evermore ungainly and constricting. This bird house is destined to return to the earth that it has quietly served for years, alone in these peaceful woods.
