"Hm, I bet you're HERE!" Behind the tree? Not there.
Suddenly, there was thump around the corner from the tree. He chuckled to himself, getting ready to surprise her. Quickly, he jumps out from the corner and yells, "FOUND YOU!" only to freeze in dismay. He saw a hoof then a smooth, snow coat stained with scarlet drops. It was his mother lying down motionless.
