The Light grew and grew until Darkness, who was overwhelmed by Light's radiance ran away , hiding from the blinding beauty, becoming every child's fear even though when they sleep she will wrap her dark arms around them and protect them when Light will not.

hehehe all I can think about is the Novel Heart of Darkness. Nice job though. I find it very fantastical. The orange is a bit out of place but I enjoy the dark mix of turquoise, purple, pink, white and black. It has a peaceful yet mysterious effect.
However, if darkness protects the children, why do they fear her?
