  • Title: Symmetrophobia
  • Artist: Anhelitta De Celine-Val
  • Description: Symmetrophobia is the fear of symmetry. This means that the individual is afraid of proportionate objects or artistic balance. Irrational behaviors that result from being unable to cope with the anxiety symmetry produces include rearranging their homes, work spaces, and even their own clothes to make things asymmetrical.

Note-I took color and sectional balance and deliberately threw it out the window. Reference is what it started out like.

  • yes! awful because symmetry has been thrown out the window and some areas are more heavily laden then others!
it is meant to show that even the little things like balance can cause massive fear responses in some people...and they must cope somehow...thus mess/very noticeable asymmetry.
