- Title: Chevalière
- Artist: Lady_Eldae
- Description: In the day, there were typically two ways anyone could be a knight: by holding land under a knight's fee, or by being made a knight or inducted into an order of knighthood. There are examples of both cases for women. Medieval French had two words, chevaleresse and chevalière. One was for the wife of a knight, and the other was as female knight. It was not always necessary to be the wife of a knight in order to take this title. This is a rather extravagant female knight design.

- Wow, I love the avi and the informative description. If you were to pop out works of art like this everyday, you'd be my favorite person EVEH.

- I don't think gift of the goddess would have matched the other golds, only the noble plumage headpiece. The sandals would also have ruined the flow of the wings throughout the avi since GotG has a more rounded wing. I stand by your choice with the original sandals.

- Well I wanted to evenly distribute the teal/blue, gold, and light tan all over, so that's why I chose those shoes and not the Goddess ones. I still like the way it turned out regardless, though. Easily one of my favorite avatars I've done.
