    RiverDale Middle School
    Cafeteria
    12:30 P.M.

    Courtany Marks tapped the toe of her Kate Maphlin Designer heels against the white tile floor waiting in line to get her lunch. "Could this line be any longer???" She asked her friends impaitently "Yeah, it could, watch." A famillair voice said behind her. Alicia Nicks and her little "gang" of followers pushed them out of the way and cut in front. "Uh, Alicia?" Courtany's friend Bianca Carlson said sharply " You kinda don't need to eat, given, uh...." Bianca eyed her up and down making it obvious what she ment, since Alicia had gained a little weight over the summer. Every body who heared busted out laughing. Even a few of Alicia's Followers snickered.
    Alicia looked like she was going to blow up. "Hey Alicia, your face is all red, was that walk up the stairs to much for you???" Another one of Courtany's friends, Amber Thomas, smiled devilishly. "UGHHHH!" Alicia stomped off steeming "Alicia wait, your not that fat!" "Alica WAIT!" her followers said, running afer her trying to comfort her. "That was awesome! Too bad I didn't get to say anything before she walked away!" Bridget Hunter sighed pretending to be extreemely dissapointed. The other three girls in their "Clique", Cheyenne Simon, Nattily Hart, and Taylor Amin, laughed with the rest.
    When they finally got their lunch, the girls headed to their usual table. "You know, I am glad we don't go to a public school!" Cheyenne said "yeah, this is soooo much better!" Courtany picked up her solid gold fork off of the white Cashmere napkin, adding ranch dressing before starting to eat her chef salad. She always had kept the secret from her friends that she used to go to public school. Courtany had always told them that she had moved to Europe before she started school, and that last year, when she moved to RiverDale, her father's job transferred their family back to America. The truth was that she had always lived in RiverDale County. She went to the public school down the block, so they didn't know she exisisted. She'd had no friends in that school so when her father got that HUGE promotion he let her transfer to RDM(RiverDale Middle) private school. After she lied to her friends, she was the coolest girl in school, Which was why Alicia hated her.
    "Court, hullo, any body home???" Courtany snapped out of her trance to find the girls staring at her. "huh?" "Lunch is over, Mr. Stuart will kill us if we are late, lets go!" Nattily said dumping her tray. Courtany looked down and found out that her lunch was pretty much all gone. She felt full so must have been eating while she was thinking. She got up to, dumed her tray, and followed her friends out the door.
