• Aerosa Chronicles: Chapter Zero:

    3 years had passed since Supremus had fought alongside his friends against Siroga, and he had returned to the
    castle he called home. Although just a child when his adventure began, he grew into an adult quickly.

    "Sensei!" Supremus cried out as he dodged a sword, "Are you trying to kill me?!"

    "No, of course not! Now, En guarde!" Supremus' Sensei was none other than Auros, The Kaze Hermit. They would often spar as they got bored quickly; fighting was what relieved their boredom.

    After the battle of Siroga, Draxius Chikara returned to his home in Dejeris, to claim his throne, and Aerith Chie, Ventured to the River of Aicha, in hopes of furthering her Archery skills. Supremus often times would sit atop the castle and watch the forest trees rustle in the wind, But unbeknownst to him, a dark being was gathering its strength, waiting for the time to strike.

    "I think that's enough training for today, don't you?" Auros stepped out of his battle stance and flashed a smile at his Green haired pupil.

    "Ugh, I guess," Supremus stepped out of his stance as well and rushed to the kitchen to eat, "I'm hungry, I guess we're having some steak tonight, old man!" he took a large slab of meat and placed it on a large baking sheet and thrust it into an open oven, closing the oven door upon entry.

    After dinner they stored the leftovers in the fridge and Supremus retreated to the Roof, the night sky was as beautiful as it always was. The stars shimmered brightly as the cool air blew against his exposed arm.

    Suddenly, the cry of a girl in pain filled the night sky, Birds circled a section of the forest. Supremus knew something was amiss. Without hesitation he summoned his wind magic and flew to the forest, squinting his eyes to see in the darkness.

    A girl lay on the ground, unconscious; she had golden blonde hair but seemed oddly familiar to him, as though he'd met her before. Of course, he couldn't tell due to the darkness.

    He returned to the castle and treated her wounds; they weren't serious, other than a broken rib, just a bump on the head and a few bite marks on her arms, presumably from Wolves.

    When she awoke her eyes opened revealing Emerald green eyes that he had seen before.

    “S-Supre-mus?” she spoke painfully.

    “Um, have we met before?” he asked her.

    “H-Hatia...” she weakly stated, that one word, however, shattered the blockade around his memories and the images from his childhood flooded his mind,

    “H-Hat-chan!” he stood up and hugged her, tears filling his eyes. "I-I thought you were dead." He sobbed as he held her close,

    “Supremus...” She closed her eyes and tears began to well up inside them.

    Auros watched quietly from the doorway as he began to realize that this girl was not from this world.

    She recovered from her wounds, thanks to Auros’ special potions, Supremus then took her to the rooftop and questioned her about how she had gotten to this world.

    “Well, He tried to kill me but was unsuccessful, I laid in bed for more than 3 months recovering, pondering about what had happened. As a child I did not understand, and I still don’t fully understand it, but I knew that you were not in our world anymore, even though I could feel your life force… ” She turned to face the forest. “I learned about portals that led to other worlds, and knew that you had to have gone through one of them, I read through book after book to find information about the portals and other worlds, and eventually I happened upon the legend of Orenos… I instantly felt that this world was where you were and started looking for portals… I found a portal to this world in Australia and made it to this world about 2 months ago… I traveled around a bit before I was attacked in the forest, which is where you found me.” She concluded her story.

    “Wow. Um, That’s amazing!” he turned to watch the trees, “Hat-chan, I’m not the same person I was 5 years ago… I’m not going back.” He said almost coldly

    “I don’t care, I just… Well, I don’t know why I came… I just had to. I missed you so much…” She looked at her feet, and then at Supremus, He had walked off the edge of the castle and was now floating Mid-Air.
    “I’m a magic wielder now, though I also use a Katana.” He spoke softly, “I wish I could’ve returned to the other world without changing… but this is my home now, and Hat-Chan, your home is back in the other world” his soft voice gradually gained strength as he spoke.
    “No, my home was destroyed in a fire and my parents were also killed by your brother, I was left in an orphanage… that’s why I ran away to come here, I knew you were here, please let me stay!” she pleaded with him, tears welling up in her eyes

    Supremus sighs, “I suppose I could talk to Auros-Sensei about it.” Right as those words escaped his mouth she tackled him in mid-air.

    “Thank you!” she cried out in happiness.
