Lillith and I sat under the stars untill I noticed the sun, just peaking over the horizon, I didn't want to leave her; I know I had just met her but she was my angel in the dark. However my thoughts were traped in the old ways, I left her to return to my crypt; however upon my return I stood frozen, I did not run to my crypt as I usually did but walked; by time I had reached it, the sun was half way into the sky and I had been unharmed by it's light. 'What magic is this?' I though to myself then went into my crypt for the chest I had taken long ago, in it was my old merchants hat and items; and the riches I had gained. What wonders would grant me such a gift, or was it merely the fear of tales told my the younger generations that had startled my mind into hiding for so long, this I knew not and smiled proudly as I loaded my bag and set out for the light.
I had so longed for the sweet aroma of daylight again that it seemed to be like I was a babe again, just looking into the sun for the first time; I was beside myself with the joy of it all that when I walked into town many greeted my as if I was human again, "May I ask, where can I set up a stall for shop?" I asked, a young boy eagerly took my hand and lead me to the corner where Lillith once stood. My heart beat louder then it ever had before as I set up my stop, soon before me there lay riches of the Highlands, and old relics of the knights of Yore and the Druids of the Irish lands. "You have good stock sir." And old man said as he asked for the old kights crest, he payed 20 gold for it and smiled as he waved; telling tales of it to his younger kin, the youngest lad smiled and waved as he returned to his elder's tale. I glanced to my left and saw her there, standing with a warm smile as she walked up to me with great haste, "Dominic." She called, her voice of angels music to my ears, "How goes shop today?" she asked, I smiled back and nodded as if to say the shop was good, small but the shop was good on this day; she walked up to me and smiled as her arms embraced me with joy, I returned her gental hold as she smiled then pulled from my arms as a young wife called for the old slik; I smiled an exchanged it for 35 gold.
Hours had gone by since I had opened shop when I closed it, my shop was never open past mid-day as was my own rule, when I finished packing up shop I headed back into the grave yard then sighed in thought, 'Since I have gold, should I not by a home?' I thought to myself as I sat and counted my gold; I had make nearly 300 gold from today's shop, 100 gold would get my a fairly cozy home, "A home..." The thought was enticing to finally have a home that I could return to after the hard days of travel and in the shop; I smiled and went on my hunt for a home. The townsmen werehelpful in my search, and I soon found my home near the edge of the woods; price of which was 89 gold, "The home is good, I thank you." I said as I handed the man his gold, he smiled and waved then grined and smiled again, "I wish you a good day sir." The man said as he set off with another man looking for a larger home for he and his wife, I had a wish for a family; once I found the right woman, but to me there was only one angel in my life now, and she was reaching out to me; now more than ever, 'A wonderous life.' I thought as I entered my home to see what was needed for it to be better.
