Note: This actually happened to me I just changed the spelling of the character's names a little bit. The timing is also different
I sat down for lunch in between my two best friends. My two best friends that keep me standing. Those same two best friends help me through everything. Who ever thought how much can happen over a summer break...
Everyday of our break Ashlie and I spent together. Everyday after hanging out with Ashlie, I called Cloe. Everyday she answered, and everyday we talked for almost two hours. Laughing, Giggling, Talking... But Cloe doesn't laugh anymore...
The year before Cloe, Ashlie, and I were always hanging out together. We were what you could say, The Three Muskuteers. Now Ashlie hardly even talks to Cloe. Wanna know why??
Because Cloe is going through emotional distress. She doesn't laugh, cry, smile, or even joke around. If she talks all she talks about is her weaknesses and her strength points. Every day after P.E ( Before our electives [TA]) Cloe and I used to spend about 15-20 mins in the bathroom. Doing our hair, talking, laughing. Other than spending time with Ashlie that was what I looked forward to at school. Now I like to avoid it. Up untill Thursday before our school dance I hadn't seen Cloe cry for about 2 months.
Now remember when I sat down at lunch between Ashlie and Cloe?? Well, Ashlie won't even talk to Cloe anymore. The only reason she was there was because of me... They don't realize this but they are pressuring me to choose one over another.
This hurts me to write (I'm fighting back tears right now) but the whole reason I'm writing this story is because.
My. Heart. Is. Now. TORN. In. Two.
And I need help stiching it up again.

- I am probably a little late on this, given the date on which you posted, but I agree with Wander Warrior: you should not choose, nor be forced into it. If your two friends no longer want to talk to each other or hang out, that is their decision, but they shouldn't put you in the middle of it. I think the best idea is to explain to them that you still want to be friends with each, and that if you have to be with them each at separate times, that you will do that.

- Much help. You want to do what's best for everyone and not just one person. Make them understand that at least. If they don't, then you have to prepare yourself and try and let go of all the things you fear to lose. Thats the hardest part for anyone to do. Feel free to contact me if you need anything else. Take care and I hope all goes well....

- This isn't about taking sides if this is what you're worrying about, Retro. Its about giving company to those who you love most. Even if the other is looking at you the wrong way for hanging out with the other, You have to make them understand what You're Now Going Through and thus... Its not fair to you to pick a side. I've gone through something similar to this but it was Really my fault doing... But anyway, I can't post any longer than 500 characters so this little advice may not be much of h
