• A flash of brown...
    A streak of white...
    White?
    I can't think.
    Everythings blurry...
    So blurry.

"Oh! Cake! I love cake, mamma!" my voice sounded high pitched. It confused me.
"Yes, I know you do, sweety. Now. No eating the cake till tonight! If I find any of it gone, you will be in a butt-load of truble."
    "Yes, ma-am."
Then mother disappeared. She was upstairs, taking her nap. I snuck up to the cake carefully, making sure mamma hadn't rigged it. It looked safe, so I grabbed a huge chunk in my hand and stuffed it into my mouth.
It was so absolutely mouthwatering, I grabbed another chunk, and another.
Then, I decided to run. I don't know why, I just did. So I ran, through my kitchen, into the dinning room, crossing the piano room to the hall, and back to the kitchen.
I made the circut several times before I stopped in the piano room. Looking out the window, I saw a girl about my age standing in my front yard. Her skin and hair were as white as the moon, and her eyes, visible, even from where I was standing, were blood red. I shuddered and dropped the piece of cake I had been holding a gapped at the strange girl.
Then I heard her, clear as day.
"Come with me, Trinity. Come with me." Her voice was so soft, so melodic, I almost followed. But I shook my head. I was terrified, so I ran up to my parents room where mom was sleeping. The door flew open and I charged in.
But mom wasn't there. I checked all of the upstairs, but mom was no where to be found. My terror increased. I started downstairs, to get to our only phone to call dad, when I relized my little brother was supposed to be here to, sleeping quietly in his room. I hoped that at least he would be in his room, but he wasn't. Then I heard mother. She too had a soft, melodic voice that accompanied her terrifing words. "Trinity, baby. Come with me! Join us."
I looked outside my brothers window and saw my mother, and little brother in her arms. Both looked the same as the mysterious girl. I screamed and ran to the bathroom, locking the door behind me and collapsing on the floor almost immediately. They pounded on the door, chanting the same words over and over again; "Join us! Join us, trinity. Join us!"
My head throbbed from my fall and, regaining some of my balance, I stood up and looked into the mirror. And gasped.
My skin was as white as the moon, my eyes as bright and red as blood. I looked down and let out a bloodcurdling scream.
At my feet was my dead body, already partially decayed.
