• Once long ago a girl was born who had the power to control all 4 elements, earth, water, fire, and air. There was a tribe for each element, each with it's own customs and ways of life. This girl was born in the air tribe. She had fiery red eyes and long purple hair, which made her a very abnormal child. Usually only fire benders had red eyes, and noone had ever seen anyone with purple hair. Her mother, who had wanted the perfect daughter, was ashamed that she had given birth to such a hideous child. Not only that but the child had killed her own father, which contributed to her mothers hate. Though it was on accident she was never forgiven.
Then one day, acording to her mother, the child was seen waterbending the pond in their backyard. Her mom discovered that day that she was gifted with the ability to control all the elements. Something like that had never been heard of before. Her mother yelled at her and beat her and treated her like a monster.
Then, when the child turned 12, she ran away. Soon after, every element in that world went off balance and all sorts of natural disasters started to occur. The elder that ran the 4 tribes decided he would put a stop to it. He asked around and eventually found the mother of Luna. That was her name. Luna was the poor rejected girl. The elder gathered 3 people from each tribe to put an end to this, once and for all.

An average sized, dark skinned female sat on the ground, emerald green eyes scanning the area as she looked over each individual there. There were still some missing but she could still make out the faces of who was there, at least some of them.

She wore what looked like a clear, satin shawl around her shoulders for some slight cover, just for the small bit of warmth it provided. She wore a creamy orange halter top, a small broach with the Air Tribe's insignia sitting just on her chest of the shirt. The top was lined with gold with a wind-like, white design at the bottom edge. Her pants were loose and quite large; somewhat baggy and held up by a golden cloth tied at the side, the left over cloth hanging loosely down her thigh. Tied onto the belt was what looked like two hollow sword hilts; these were her weapons. She wore no shoes, they were too much of a hastle plus they weighed her down so she kept them off.

She caught sight of a young, energetic boy just as the Earth Tribe found their way into the group. The boy seemed to be talking to one of the Fire Tribe members, smiling away as if the world was the best place to live. He looked so naive.... She eventually began to relax, glancing up her fellow air tribe member, Sora.

"Hey," she spoke in a somewhat raspy, strangely 'soulful' voice, "I'm bored," she stated in a playful joking manner, voice somewhat mellow as she spoke to her dear friend.

Sora smiled, "Well Tokio, entertain yourself then."

"I can't wait to see Willow! Can't you Riva," a water tribe boy said excitedly "It's so hard to see her when we come from two different elements."

The girl next to him, Riva, looked over at the idiot who used to be her crush, who sort of still is, as he talked about his girlfriend Willow, as always. Her and Willow used to be best friends back in the day. Yeah, that was before this idiot... Way before.

"Damian, you should be focused on us finding our way there, not your girlfriend." Riva narrowed her eyes at him and pouted as she spoke.

Another water tribe boy was walking with them, completely uninterested. He stared ahead at the path that lead to the capitol. He only came along with the two idiots so he wouldn't get lost.

After walking for a few minutes they saw some air and fire benders.

"Were here!" Riva and Damian said at the same time.

Damian immediatly went up to Willow and put his arm around her, talking to her happily and excitedly.

The Capital City was absolutely bustling with people hurriedly shoving and walking for one place to another, all seeming to have somewhere to go. Such haste about the wide city streets made the sight of a couple meandering about aimlessly quite odd. It was very unfortunate that the metting place was on the outskirts of the capital city, and that. from the earth tribe, it was all the way through to the other side of the city.

    "We're so lost."

"Not lost.... just sightseeing." The taller, well-tanned male with a long black ponytail replied, glancing once more at the small map he'd nicked from a nearby stand. He grimaced, flipping it over--turning it--and ultimately balling it up and throwing it over his shoulder, golden eyes narrowing with a sigh. "Feh. We'll get there eventually, don't worry about it Ryn."

"We're supposed to be representatives of the Earth Tribe, we can't be that late." Ryn muttered, the wind from her sigh blowing her long black bangs from her face. She crossed her arms over her brown midriff hoodie, pouting some. "This is giving off a bad image for the village, Lykes."

"Nah," Lykes grinned, clapping the girl on the shoulder. "See? That looks like the spot."

"What gave it away?" Ryn muttered back, making a bit of a playful face. "Was it the waterbenders in the eskimo jackets? I wouldn't have noticed that, you're so great, bro."

Lykes scoffed, pulling her along to the square in which the group was sitting; it seemed them weren't the only late ones though. The water tribe was just arriving as well.

Now everyone had arrived and looked around, awaiting the elder. As everyone was looking at their teammates, the elder came out. He made eye contact with all 12 members before he spoke.
“As most of you know, you have been chosen to take down an abomination, an imbalance to this world.” Some nodded and some continued staring intently.
“Well first of all you will be sent to gather information on the location of this child. Luna is her name. To start off I will split you into groups. Night, Ryn, and Lykes shall go to the water nation” Night, a boy from the water tribe, followed the elders gaze and smiled as he saw he was with a cute girl with black pigtails, Ryn was her name. Then he looked off when he noticed a huge man, Lykes, glaring daggers at him.
“Willow, Nuel, and Sora will go to the fire tribe.” Willow was going to protest. She really disliked Nuel, but she decided against it.
“Riva, Damian, and Tokio shall go to the air tribe.” Willow was now even angrier. Not only would she be away from Damian but he would be with Riva! She stood quietly steaming as if she were in an oven while Tokio, a tall dark skinned woman from the air tribe, smiled a bit at Riva and Damian. Sora, a black haired boy from the air tribe, looked at Willow, now his teammate, questioningly, wondering if it was him she was mad about, but decided not to saying anything.
“And finally Emma, Katy, and Kiel shall go to the earth tribe.” A brown haired girl with her hair in a ponytail, Emma, looked over at the two quiet fire tribe boys. She crossed her arms and rolled her eyes a bit, she didn't really like being around boys. In fact, she hated it.
“Now I chose these groups for a reason. You will discover the reasons yourself with time. Night, Tokio, Willow, and Emma, you guys will be the leaders. You are going to the place you are from so it'll be up to you to make sure your team stays safe and goes to the right places.” All of them nodded and had a serious face seeming ready to lead, except Night. He was grinning confidently, as if this was a game and not a responsibility.
“Now gather in your groups and head out.” Everyone scattered and found their groups. They looked around and studied their group members. They were going to have to look at them a lot for the next few days.
