- A gentle breeze blows through the willow tree planted in the center of the garden. I turn my face towards it and allow it to brush the long strands of hair from my eyes. The leaves rustle as the wind passes them, and the branches of the graceful tree sway slowly, making their shadows dance gracefully on the sweet green grass. It is a beautiful night to be out, for the moon is full and bright. The pale light reflecting of its surface enlightening the dark of night. The shadows of the willow tree and himself are the only spots of darkness on this clear beautiful night. The clouds floated by at mid-day and have yielded the night to the millions of stars accompanying the moon. All the others are missing this night. They are all asleep, watching television, or playing video games. They are all too busy to notice the beauty. I sit on the dew-covered ground, watching the horizon for that small glimmer of light to peer from where it had fallen just hours ago, waiting for the sun to show it's luminous face. To warm the air and wake the men and women deep in their slumber, to change the world once again. The world is a quiet place at night, but once the sun rises it becomes loud and obnoxious. As the moon begins to fade, I go inside and dress for work. We must all be loud and busy in order to survive. That is the world's law.
