• As Ray hung up on Anthony there was a knocking on the back window. Ray lowered the window to see Delsus leaning over the the divider with his arms resting on it.

"Uncle Ray Ray? Do you have something fun to read? I'm bored..."

Ray stopped at a red light and looked around quickly.

    "Errr. Here, take this."

He reaches for a book and hands it to Delsus as the light turned green. Delsus smiled and said politely,

    "Thanks Uncle Ray Ray."

He went back to his seat and looked at the title.

"Alchemy, The basic steps of understanding your world."

He opened to a random page and began reading.

Soon after he stopped because he couldn't understand the large words that were written, instead he flipped through the book and looked at the illustrations and the small font text that explained the picture. After about half an hour the car pulled up to a large building and Ray parked in a special spot. Ray shut the car off and got out, Delsus was deep into the book and didn't notice the car had stopped. Ray opened the door and smiled.

"Seems to me that you like that book."

Delsus looked up at him then smiled happily.

"I don't really understand it, but I like the pictures."

Ray helped Delsus out of the car and was taken inside the large building. They walked into the lobby and it was the biggest thing Delsus had ever seen. His eyes shimmered and was overwhelmed by how big and beautiful everything was. There was a huge chandelier hanging above them which seemed to give off a golden glow to the room. He looked to the left and saw a set a chairs that rounded a table where some other men were looking and passing around the powder he saw earlier. Before he got a clear view of everything Ray pulled him into an elevator that was shiny and had golden handles. Ray looked at Delsus and saw that he was astonished.

    "Like the place?"

Delsus just nodded as he saw the last bit of the lobby as the elevator door closed. Ray handed Delsus the book and Delsus clutched it in his arms.

"Now I'm going to take you to your room okay Del. There I want you to stay and don't open the door for anyone kay?"

    Delsus nodded.

    "Okay, but why?"

Ray kneeled down and placed his hands on Delsus' shoulders.

"That's because I have a lot of friends here at my house, and I don't want them to take my favoritest nephew."

Delsus looked a bit saddened and turned his eyes away. Ray rubbed Delsus' head and said,

    "What's wrong little man?"

Delsus looked down at his book then to the elevator door.

"Well...Aren't you going to be late?"

Ray looked at him rather puzzled.

    "Late? Late for what?"

    Delsus looked at him,

"Late to meet papa. He'll be sad if your not there. And I'll feel sad if I made you late."

Ray laughed a bit as the elevator stopped and opened its door.

"Now Delsus, I just talked to your daddy and he said that its alright."

    Delsus smiled.

"Oh, by the way. How would you like to sleep over Uncle Ray's house for a few days?"

    Delsus looked indecisive.

"B-but if I'm here then papa will be all alone and I don't want that."

Ray looked at the book then back at Delsus.

"Well your daddy said that he would like you to sleep over for a few days and he'll pick you up in three days."

    Delsus looked straight at Ray.

    "Honest?"

    Ray smiled and winked.

    "Of course!"

Delsus smiled, dropped the book and hugged Ray.

"Thanks a bunch uncle Ray Ray!"

Ray let out an evil smile during the hug.

    "No Delsus, thank you."
