• Chapter 3

    Heading to School

    *Ring, Ring* at hearing the annoying sound of his alarm clock Bash started to

    stir, after awhile of listening to it continuously going off Bash started to

    become annoyed, Bash then picked it up in his hand and got ready to chuck it

    at the wall and watch it break into a million pieces. Bash’s arm got ready to

    release the alarm clock until he saw in bright red numbers on the clock 8:30

    am, “OH NO!!!” he screamed jumping out of bed trying to hurry and pull on

    some clothes. “GUYS WAKE UP NOW!!” he screamed again afraid they were

    going to miss their transportation, “We’re already up” he heard Kenta say as

    him an everyone else came down stairs dressed and ready to go. “Good, ok

    everyone go outside and get in the car I will be out in a minute” with that said

    everyone looked at Bash and nodded their heads before heading outside to

    get into the car, some of the gang still nervous about the trip. Everyone sat in

    the car in silence, going over all the thoughts that were running through their

    heads, and with those simple thoughts they’re journey was bound to begin.

    (After reaching the train) “Welcome to Transportation Central, put your items

    right here and head to the nearest teleporter that will take you to the train,

    which is for Cross Heart Academy Students.” Said the woman who had certain

    kindness in her voice that Maria seemed to like. “Maria? Come on before we

    miss our train.” Said Kenta as him and the others awaited her at the

    gate “Ok.” She said smiling as she ran to her friends ready to board the train

    with them. “God this is exciting yet nerve wrecking.” Said Sabrina as she took

    her seat next to Jay in row 216-220, “I know how you feel.” Said Ai as she

    took the seat next to Kenta, which was also in row 216-220, as Ai finally took

    her seat next to Kenta, he started to turn 10 different shades of red.

    (Two rows back with Tai 224-228 )     Seeing this Tai started frown knowing

    that Kenta also had feelings for Ai just like he did, Tai soon sighed at the

    thought that started to form in his head ~I’ll never have her~

    as the thought ran through his head over and over Tai only became more

    depressed, soon it became to much that Tai couldn’t take it anymore so he

    took out his headphones including his ipod and started listening to music.

    (Somewhere else aboard the train) “I can’t believe it’s so difficult

    for me to find my seat.” Said the girl who was feeling a bit down since she

    couldn’t find where she belonged on the train, as she continued walking she

    finally found her row and also found that someone was already there. She

    finally got close enough to realize that the person was a boy, as she stood

    watching him she thought he must have been listening to his ipod before he

    fell asleep since it was in his hand, before she knew what she was doing she

    called out to him and starting tapping his shoulder. Tai feeling someone

    tapping him looked up only for his face to be covered in a blush, as he came

    face to face with what he thought had to be the most beautiful girl in the

    world. After awhile of gawking at the girl he finally spoke “Uh..uhh my names

    Tai what’s yours?” as soon as he spoke the girl looked at him and giggled “My

    name is JoJo.” She said a blush now adorning her cheeks. Tai smiled at JoJo

    before speaking “well then JoJo would you like to take seat?” JoJo’s eyes

    widened and so did her smile as she nodded her head vigorously and took a

    seat next to Tai, where they spent hours talking until their next stop, to pick

    up the next group of kids heading to the academy. (Demon Valley off the coast

    of the main Cross Heart Central)     “God Matt hurry we’re going to miss

    the train.” Yelled Sky as he grabbed his brother’s hand and sped up the

    pace, “But brother I had to say goodbye to my love” Matt replied while giving

    his brother that cute pout of his, Sky laughed “Fine, fine we are almost at the

    train station anyway.” He said with a smile one his face. (Back on the

    train)     Maria looked out the window as she saw the train come to

    a stop so it could pick up the last group of kids and head to the academy, as

    the doors opened up kids rushed in and started looking for their seats so they

    could sit. Soon as all the kids filled in Maria noticed the two extra seats in her

    and Bash’s row, she then thought they must have been empty the whole time

    which made her wonder who got the tickets for those seats. (At Demon

    Valley’s Transport station)     “We’re going to make it!” screamed Sky as

    he grabbed his brother, and jump through the door with him, as it started to

    close, soon as the doors closed they both snapped their eyes open wondering

    did they make it or not and to their surprise they both were laying on the floor

    inside of the train, which made them both smile and high five each other. Maria

    looked down and saw two boys laying on the floor, which confused her a

    bit “Hey what are you two doing down there?” she asked with a polite smile

    on her face, before she knew it one of the boys jumped up and she knew right

    away he must be half fox because of his tail and fox like ears. “Hi my name is

    Matt.” the fox like boy said as he jumped up and down excited, to Maria he

    reminded her of a little girl but he was so cute though and she couldn’t resist

    hugging him which only made him smile more happily since he might of made a

    new friend. “Matt come on we have to find our seats.” Maria looked up

    wanting to see who else was there only to see the other boy that had jumped

    into the train, but this one had a wolf tail and wolf ears she took notice

    to, “But brother I want to talk to my new friend more.” Matt said with a sad

    look on his face. “Matt I know but we have to find are seats number 223 and

    224” said Sky only making his brother frown, but Maria for some reason was

    still smiling “If your looking for those seats they are right here this is seat

    number 221-224” she said grinning. Sky sighed and said “Then I should

    introduce myself, my name is Sky” he said now letting a small smile grace his

    lips, she then smiled back “Well my name is Maria.” She said happily. Before

    Sky could tell him to Matt hurried and took his seat next to Maria so he could

    start playing with her hair, while Sky just shook his head with that warm smile

    on his face now taking the seat next to the window and Matt, during this

    whole event Bash was just sleeping the time away, most likely dreaming

    about Auto & Motor parts. The ride on the train went on for hours at a time

    boring almost all the passengers, when suddenly the speaker came on from

    over head telling everyone to relax, as all of a sudden seat belts flung out of

    nowhere and strapped everyone in comfortably, sleeping or awake. “We are

    now entering the portal please everyone hold on tight it shall not take long.”

    Said the familiar voice over the speaker, Maria took a minute to remember

    where she had heard the voice, but then she remembered she heard it while

    boarding the train, then it hit her the voice was that of the lady who told them

    to put their stuff on the cart before they got on the train. The lights soon

    started to rapidly turn off then on, an as soon as that happened the train

    started to rock then toss itself harshly back and fourth scaring all of the

    passengers inside, during this exchanged Matt hugged onto Maria and she

    held him because she could cense that he was frightened because he was

    continuously shivering. To everyone’s relief and surprise the lights came back

    on and the train started moving as smoothly as ever, slowly the train started

    to come to a stop and when it did all the kids got off, happy to be off the train

    after that ordeal. “Guys where are you!?” Maria yelled calling out into the

    crowd as she tried not to get separated from Bash and her two new

    friends “Maria, Bash we’re over here!” Yelled Kenta as him and the group

    made their way over to them. Seeing the group of people both Matt and Sky

    looked shocked, because of how many friends Maria had, well to the two

    brothers that was considered a lot of friends. They all started to soon chat

    about many things but in a very different language unfamiliar to Matt and Sky,

    soon seeing the two were confused Maria said “I’ll teach you both if you would

    like” with that sweet smile on her lips the two boys just smiled and

    nodded. “Let’s go we should start heading towards the school…” said Rei now

    stopping in mid sentence as she and her friends stared at the giant academy

    that was about the size of 20 Royal Castles. “Oh wow…it’s breath taking.”

    Said Bash in excitement an amazement, catching onto this Rei smirked and

    whispered into his ear “If you love it so much you should marry it.” After this

    was said she walked off with a smile on her face. Bash in return smirked “I

    love something but not the Academy my dear” he whispered into the wind as

    a heart warming smile was placed upon his lips as him and the group headed

    for the school. “Wait guys please wait!” Called out someone to the group,

    hearing someone calling out Sabrina turned around and to her surprise she

    saw Chi, Gear, and Ikuto “Guys look over there.” Said Sabrina pointing to the

    group of three heading their way. Everyone turned their heads to see who

    was coming only for them to see their friends, “Hey!” Almost everyone said

    other than Matt, Sky, and JoJo who didn’t know who the people coming their

    way we’re. When the group of three finally reached their friends, hugs were

    exchanged, since everyone was so happy to see each other and seeing this

    only made JoJo, Matt, and Sky want to be apart of this little family even more.

    Matt ran over to the group first followed by his brother and JoJo, soon as the

    reached the group they were treated like one of the family and was

    introduced to everyone adding more friends to all of their lives which soon

    would become more.
