• There once was a boy his, name was Edward. Edward is 15 years old and lives in Alaska. Edward didn’t live with his parents they both died of a terrible disease that has been spreading in Alaska. Edward said he would find a cure for it so no child will go through what he had to anymore. He never had any other family to stay with they all lived down in Asia because that is where his family is from.
    Edward was sleeping until he heard the howling of wolves. He sat up and slipped on his slippers and went out side. He saw a wolf roaming the woods and then it turned its head and looked strait at him with those shiny yellow eyes, then started to howl. Edward froze and just kept staring at the wolf then he started walking to it. He couldn’t control his feet from moving at all. Then the wolf started to growl at him. He stopped dead in his tracks looked around him and saw the whole pack around him. He took a huge gulp of air and held it for a few seconds. “I won’t hurt you OK I won’t harm any of you.” The wolf stopped growling like he understood what he said. They walked of into the woods leaving Edward thinking about what just happened.
    The next day Edward started packing for his trip to town, he went to town every month to get supplies he needed like food and clothes. The town was two days away from his cabin so he packed only four meals a tent and a lantern for light. Finally Edward was ready to leave at 4 in the morning. He started out and went west to the town called silver stream. It got its name because of the stream in the middle of town. The color of the stream when moonlight hits it is silver.
    A day and a half later Edward stopped and looked in the derection of the town he saw the stream that gave it its name and now it was only a hour away. Edward heard the howl of wolves again and looked around. He saw nothing but snow and more snow but then out of no where a wolf jumped at him. He just stood still and dident even make a sound but the wolf dident leave. He tugged edwards jacket so he followed him but he was going the wrong way to town but he still followed. “where are you taking me. I need to go to town or ill starve I have no more food and im hungry.” He said. But the wolf dident pay any attention to his whining.they came to a cave and the wolf went in but edward dident. The wolf came out and nudged him in so he went in to make sure he wasent going to attack.
    Edward saw a little girl standing there crying she looked sick and scared. Edward went up to her and saw she had the disease his parents had she had the fever and the little rashes that burn when touched. He wanted to help but he hadent found any cure yet for the sickness. So he picked her up and carried her to the town with the wolf following him. He enterd the town running to the docters place hoping by now they found a cure before him. He enterd and and saw Dr. Sohma right away and ran to him “can you help her she has that disease that has been spreading have you guys found a cure yet.” He said. Dr. Sohma shook his head and said “but we can try to help her.” He took her and put her in a bed and they left to the nurses room.
    The wolf tugged on edwards coat again. So he followed him and they left the town and went to the lake of angels and the wolf nuged the water and then some kind of flower. Edward knew what he ment so he picked some of the flowers and scooped up some water and mixed them together. Edward showed it to the wolf and he smelled it and barked with approval. They ran back to the silver stream and into the docters house. They startled all the nurses that where looking at the little girl. Edward gave her the medicine and she felt better as soon as she took it and was out of bed the next day.
    They said edward was a hero but he said that it was all the wolf. The people looked at him and all said what wolf. He looked beside him and he saw the wolf disipear in front of him. Edward found out there are gardians that are spirit animals and they come to fullfill a dream of some sort. Edward whent back home to his cabin. He dident live alone anymore he had the wolves with him and they never left his side.
