Wind whipping my hair...
all I can think of is despair...
About the pain I keep inside...
is the pain I try to hide...
I snuggled close to him, letting his scent drift up my nose. His warmpth spread throughout my body, and I leaned closer. "Shhhh. You will be okay," He assured me. The soft words seemed to wrap around me, and I made a choking sound. Tears streaked down his muddy face as ha saw the pain I was in. Blood caked the corners of my lips, and I licked them eagerly. He held up water to my face, and I drank like there was no tomarrow. Maybe there wasn't. "To think this may be the last I see of you." I heard him mummble. Sorrow and longing crossed his face. A black shade of despair covered us. Then he wrapped his arms around me, pulling me closer untill our lips touched. An electric shock swepped through me. And That is the last memory I have of him. Because the next thing I knew, I was staring at the blank hospital wall, counting sheep. Nurses murmered that he was gone, that he didn't survive the crash. But as I knew that somewhere in my heart, somewhere deep down, he was there with me. All safe and sound.
